Clint stops by Nash's vineyard and notices he's frustrated, asks what's gotten to him.
Jess runs into Marty in the park.
Antonio questions Addie about Todd being there visiting her last night. Addie says she can't cnfirm Todd was there.
Bo isn't happy that John wants to come back to work and be chief investigator in the Truman case. John insists he's the best qualiied, Nat objects, says it's too soon and naturally John snaps at her. Bo's stance is that John already proved that Truman killed the daddy and Spencer's already dead, so he paid.
"Spencer murdered in ex-lover's hospital room" are the headlines on a newspaper article a mystery man googled.
Cole and Starr meet secretly in the library. She thinks things will calm down now Truman's dead.
Addie says the reason she can't tell the policeTodd was there is because Todd made her promise not to tell Blair about the visit (and Blair was standing right there). She goes on to tell the cops that Todd had come to ask her tot talk some sense into her daughter. Antonio seems satisfied with that. Blair bristles.
Thalia tells Antonio that Addie's a mental patient so maybe they should find another person to corroborate her story. Antonio's okay with Addie's account.
Addie tells Blair that she wants her to say yes to Todd's proposal. Blair rolls her eyes. Todd's smug.
Marty questions Jess about her feelings for Nash. Jess says she can't really stay away from him because of Capricorn. Jess goes on to tell Marty about the steam room incident (Marty laughs). Then Jess talks about how Nash kissed her and that she kissed him back.
Clint and Nash continue their conversation- warm and friendly. Nash declines Clint's invitation to go off for a beerr and instead offers Clint a glass of his new wine. They clink glasses. Nash asks about Viki, and are they a couple....what about Dorian. Clint admits to caring about both women. Viki's a constant, patient, steady and honest. Dorian's unpredictable with her own version of the truth. Nash points out that it's a little like Tess/Jess. Clint asks him if he's developing feelings for Jessica.
Clint warns Nash hat he and several other people will get hurt if he continues to have feelings for Jessica. She was in love with Antonio long before he came into the picture, and she has promised to love Antonio for the rest of her life. Nash tops up his wine glass, knowing full well the spiel he was about to get from Clint.
Jess tells Marty that she feels horribly guilty over the kiss with Nash. Marty wants her to figure out what she feels guilty about - her feelings for Nash or the kiss itself.
Starr and Cole are still talking at the library, wishing they could go out together in public, hold hands etc.
Nat and John start to get into another typical argument about his health and his meds. Bo sends her off so he can speak to John privately. Bo's concerned about John's involvement with the Truman case because he could possibly end up protecting someone he cares about. (Or something - it's just more demon crap with Bo doing his best with the shitty lines. Does anybody give a damn about John's demons??????)
John and Bo carry on with their talk about the suspects in the case. John asks Bo if he thinks he might want to bury evidence, and what about Paige and her possible involvement. He'd never mess with evidence for any reason, just as Bo wouldn't. Nat overhears and flashes back to her theft of the fibres. Bo refuses to let John work on the Truman murder because he's too close to it.
Starr clutches a copy of Romeo and Juliette as the librarian asks her if she needs any help. (OMG - ugh.)
Antonio tells Thalia if his wife ever lied to him, even once, it'd be a deal-breaker. It was a part of his explanation of all the lies between Todd and Blair to bring her a bit more up to speen on the T&B history.
Marty counsels Jess to talk about her problem (guilt/kissing Nash) with Antonio. It'll deepen the bond they have, blah, blah.
Blair agrees to consider Todd's proposal to calm Addie down. Addie's taken away for her meds and Blair tells Todd that they can't be together. Todd says they should just all go home and Blair breaks to him the news that she hired a nurse to move her and the kids back into Dorian's. Todd's angry that she did this without talking to him about it, asks her how he's supposed to live without her.
On her way back from her encounter with Marty, Jess begins to come to terms with her feelings for Nash.
Blair explains to Todd that they can't be together any more because the best thing for the kids is for both of them (T&B) to be happy. he can move on and find happiness with someone else, and so can she. He pulls her into a kiss, but she ends up just walking away from him as if she wasn't the least affected by it.
Jess runs into Antonio at his office having a heart-to-heart with Thalia about how trust is the most important part of a marriage. She looks distraught and guilty.
Clint tells Nash to let go of his feeling for Jess - he'll be better for it, then takes off leaving Nash to finish his carpentry work. Nash falls off his ladder and loses consciousness.
Nat overhears Bo telling John NO to the Truman case.
Oh geez - a comatose Nash sees Tess standing in her flowery sundress. She says she has a bone to pick with him.
Jess tells Antonio that she came by because she has to talk to him...something happened.
Strange man throws the lap top with the "Truman murdered in ex-lover's hospital room" on it across the room in anger. Must be Miles, huh?
Addie tells Todd "if you love something you must let it go free". I'll refrain from snarking at this one.
Blair sees Cole and Starr together in the park and screams at them some over-reaction accusation. Silly, really.
Nat tells Bo that John couldn't have anything to do with Spencer's murder because he was home all night long. John says don't listen to her. She's lying.
Previews next.
Van tells Cris that Nora thinks that she needs to distance herself from him in public.
Nash tells his vision of Tess that he loves Jessica. She says "what???"
Antonio asks Jess if something happened between her and Nash that she should be telling him.
Blair yells at Marty (who is with Cole in the park) that she is the reason she can't be with Todd.
Bo asks Nat why she thinks John needs an alibi. He asks John if he killed Truman.
great live post, thanks, hope you feel better soon! Your bug is lasting a long time, what do the doctors say? I had to go to court over a ticket from that fender bender, I pleaded not guilty so they reschedule court for next month. I could kill my husband. I was ready to leave to take Zach to school and get to court and couldn't find my keys anywhere. Normally I leave them in my van in the garage. But nope, not there. Not in our coats, or in the basket of junk on the counter, or the junk drawer. Not on my husband's dresser ( he was the last to use them) I luckily dumped out a junk basket in his dresser (we have junk everywhere) and found a spare key!!! I really think he has early, early dementia.
Thanks, Tina. It's more fun doing it with company, I have to admit. It was quiet around here today.
As for this awful flu bug, I was getting over it but was told to rest a lot. Unfortunately, things got a little crazy here and I was running around taking care of various things, and it grabbed me again. Docs said anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks. I'm in week 4, but I'm determined to veg out until I am all better for good! I got cabin fever and went out a bit in this crappy weather on Wednesday....big mistake. Thanks for asking.
Wow 2 - 6 weeks, that is awful. So you are resting now? And eating some nice chicken soup? What about that Airborne stuff, I hear it makes you get better more quickly. I'm lucky to never get the flu. I was sick one day, and the entire house was a disaster. And my husband is such a pain in the rear. But when he gets sick, he's the worlds biggst baby. Well get well!!
