that party was lame

Ok so it's not a real party, but it lacked all the luster of the ball last year. The pretty colors and such. But I only caught the beginning, maybe it got better? Did Jon get around to talking to Amanda? I like them together more and more.

It was dismal and morbid! I hated it so I changed the channel for a while. I find AMC just plain depressing lately, and I'm really trying to get back into it. Since I've been housebound, and supposed to be resting, I figured why not. But honestly, AMC is just too bleak for me. I did, however, see Amanda there in a white (!!) dress with black trim. Was it supposed to be a black and white party?

I liked her dress, I was glad to see Palmer too. Did more people show up?

It's so cold here, -13 with wind chill. I could just curl up and stay inside for the next 5 days, if the kids didn't have school!!

....and if it had the lust & spectacle of last year's ball people would be complaining about that....about how disrepectful it is to the memory of the three women who have died. it wasn't supposed to be a grand event. it was a means of flushing out the SK. i doubt it will have the desired effect lol.

It was a charity event to honor them. The way they always did a charity event to honor Maria when she was dead. And they always went full-out for that ball. What was it called. In Edmunds home... Crystal something?

yes, but time had passed since maria's death. it's only been weeks or maybe a month/six weeks since the women of fusion have started dying. & dixie just dies a few days ago...even for them. she hasn't even been burried yet. no one is going to be festive then.

i thought the Ball was sposed to be in honor of Zack's mom...if thats the case then plenty of time has elapsed since her death

some cultures celebrate death and they wear white, I wonder if we should be a happier group of people when someone dies, because after all most of us believe in Heaven... death is an end to suffering

As for the AMC, they have to decide if the party is for mourning the loss of the women or if its a celebration of the lives they lived. And if it's a charity to benefit them. I think even the party when the Miranda center opened was more "colorful" for lack of a better word. And if it was for Amelia then that was ages ago. They need to clarify if it's a party or a memorial. Or maybe I didn't pay attention
