Jill tells Ji Min about her son that died as Cain sits behind her at CL checking online for his birth mother. They are there waiting for Sharon who finally arrives late for their meeting and tells them about the kidnapping. Shortly before that, Sharon called Niki, telling her to bring Noah back. She was angry that Niki took it upon herself to take her son off like that.
Brad is furious when he learns from Colleen that she got Korbel to help her solve the anagram from the reliquary. Victoria tries to get him to calm down and stop yelling, but he continues his rant, nevertheless. Colleen insists that Korbel isn't a threat to their family.
Korbel daydreams about making love to Colleen while he was lecturing, and Amber notices his absent-mindedness. Amber needles him a bit and pisses the professor off. Colleen finally arrives at class, but she missed the entire lesson.
Sharon asks for more input into how she is portrayed in the ads, should she decide to take on Ji Min's offer to her to model for Jabot. He and Jill agree it shouldn't be a problem. She declines Ji Min's lunch invitation - she needs to be home when Noah arrives back from Chicago.
Brad and Victoria get into a heated arguement about his suspicions of Korbel. He says he's trying to protect his daughter and family and he's frustrated that nobody listens to him. Brad storms off, refusing to heed his wife's warning about alienating his daughter with his heavy-handed orders.
Korbel reminds Colleen that they have work to do, getting rid of Amber, then Korbel and Colleen head off to his apartment to discuss what happened at her house with her father.
Cain's back at Indigo at his bartending job. Amber turns up, says she's just checking on the job scene there. She flirts shamelessly with him as she talks about her singing career. (Uck, I don't like Amber at all.) Then she asks him about his search for his mother and encourages him to keep at it. Seems like Amber has already figured out that Jill is his mother. Jill and Ji Min arrive for lunch at Indigo and Amber chats them up briefly, mentioning Katherine, and Jill bristles. Cain says that if he ever finds his mother, he'd be sure not to argue with her.
Cain takes a call from his immigration attorney, and he emphasises the urgency of his need for an extention on his visa. He'd come to the US to look for his mother, and he's run out of time. Amber's very interested in the whole story. (Is this the quicky trip and marriage in Las Vegas story? Sounds like it!)
Colleen tells Korbel about her argument with her dad, and it looks like she's about to spill the entire story of her family to him.
Brad runs into Sharon at CL and they sit down for coffee. He tells her that he has the Grugon thingy, felt he needed to tell her since she went through so much because of it. When he tells her about the inscription, she offers to help any way she can. He's astounded when Sharon tells him about the kidnapping - she had assumed that was why he looked so distressed, not because he'd been fighting with his wife and daughter.
Amber chats about hiding Cain in her place...no, that's not the solution. He just hasn't found it yet.
Brad calls Victorria with the news about the kidnapping but she won't pick up. He and Sharon chat about the babies, Phyllis and Michael, and how much she wants Noah home with her. Brad understands.
Colleen flashes back to her father's warning about staying away from Korbel, and chokes on explainig the whole mess to the professor. She does manage to say that her father's keeping secret, and....He cuts her off, says he doesn't want to know, nor will he put her in the position of having to choose between him and her family. They kiss.
Amber calls an attorney specialising in immigration, tells him she has fallen in love with an illegal alien and wants to marry him. She needs more information on how to make him legal.
Sharon barks at Niki over the phone to hurry up bringing Noah back. She'll wait for them at home.
Jill and Ji Min discuss how terrible it is to lose a child, just as Cain delivers their lunch at the table. (These anvils are a little too Higley-esque for my taste, lol. It must be the new regime at Y&R, because I don't remember this soap using such obvious clangers as these before LML came along.)
Colleen and Korbel are in bed. He wonders where they will go from here, she says jsut stop talking, and they go at it again.
Brad arrives home and tells Victoria about Sheila kidnapping the babies and Phyllis. She lunges for the phone to call her dad and knocks papers off the desk. Brad reaches down to pick them up and discovers the bug stuck on the side of the desk. He motions to Victoria to be quiet as he points to the thing. Her eyes widen.
Next:
Kevin goes to Bardwell, says it's about his girlfriend. Bardwell asks if there's any reason to suspect foul play.
Sharon tells Niki that she didn't like her taking Noah without consulting with her first. Niki haughtily replies that she thinks Sharon is being a bit selfish.
Michael tells Lauren that he believes they have figured out where Sheila is and Lauren wants to rush off to get her coat. Michael stops her, as if there's already a plan in place.
I think that's exactly what Amber is up to. She's moving in with him (becaue she's sooooo afraid of Sheila) and settting it up to look as if the two of them are a serious couple in case immigration looks into their marriage. She's one slick little operator!
though they are cute together, much cuter then her and the professor. And she needs to stay away from Daniel....I kinda think that he is too young for her
