Sheila's dead! Lauren shot her and the cops confirrmed it was Sheila by looking at her stomach wound. The babies and Phyllis are back home, safe and sound, but it looks like Phyllis might have some post traumatic stress syndrome as she has flashbacks to being held by the whacko.
Brad, Victoria and Victor fuss about the bugging device and what this could mean for all of them. Victor concludes that they are all in more danger now than ever before. Colleen guffaws at her dad's suggestion that it was Korbel that planted the bug. Meanwhile, Adrian chats with Amber and Cain (is that the Aussie guy's name? I had a moment there, lol.) about how the professor got his green card, since he was born in Tel Aviv. Korbel says he had a good immigration lawyer and skills that were in high demand at the time. (Amber's setting up Cain for a quickie trip to Las Vegas.)
Paul visits Maggie in the hospital and asks her a favour. He tells her that after the paramedics took her to the hospital, he did not tell the cops the whole story about Sheila. He'd really appreciate it if she didn't say anything to the police about Lauren and Michael because they really just stumbled into this., and they've suffered enough. Just then, a cop comes in to ask Maggie to tell him everything she can about her shooting.
A really great scene with GR and CLB as Michael tries to offer some comfort to Kevin over Jana.
Korbel can't get Colleen off his mind, and Colleen tells Lily that it's not over between her and her professor. Tension is building between Victoria and Brad.
Hmmmm.... Daniel sends Amber a text message that the kidnapping mess is resolved and everyone is safe and sound. Amber's afraid that Sheila might try to go after her again (I must have missed something.) Cain offers to let her stay at his place.
Strange guy calls his colleague to tell about the bug getting ripped out. He says he'll get the rest of the information some othr way. So it isn't Korbel behind the bugging!!!
Next:
Lily tells Colleen that she can stay with them as long as she likes so she'll feel safe. Colleen says nowhere is safe.
Bardwell asks Paul how he knew where Sheila's cell was in the first place. Michael is there, too.
Katherine says Sheila got exactly what she deserved and Jill chimes in asking her mother what she thinks SHE (herself) deserves.
I gotta go back and read your post from yesterday, but oh how I hope that Sheila is really dead. Poor Phylis. And I imagine amber just said that about Sheila for Cain's benefit. Though I dont follow B&B enough, maybe something happened between the 2 of them over there
Oh, that's right! Amber came from California and Lauren knew her there. So that bit about her fear of Sheila preobably does come from B&B. I guess Daniel didn't mention the part about Sheila being dead in his text message to Amber.
I don't like Daniel's relationship with Amber, either. This is the second time he's "snuck' a message to her without telling Lily. I think the kid's got a crush on Amber but isn't acknowledging it yet. Not that I'm a big fan of Daniel and Lily, and I really don't care if they stay together or split, but I do like Daniel, and I think Amber spells trouble for the poor guy. Funny, because with Davita Sherwood as Lily, I really loved them together.
Shelly, after you watch your tomorrow's epi, you have to tell me your take on the stranger's call to somebody about Carlton ripping out the bug. Some people seem to think the call was made to Adrian, and although he did snap shut his phone shortly after the guy made the call, we didn't actually see him talking to anyone. Then Adrian immediately called Colleen to make sure she was okay. I dunno - it's not like Y&R to mess around with viewers, as in teasing them so blatantly as that phone call did today. I watched that segment again after I got home this afternoon, and it really looked like a tease/red herring to me.
I don't think the professor is a bad guy. I might be wrong, and it sure wouldn't be the first time, lol, but it just seems too easy for the show to take that direction. I expect more from Y&R. Not even the spoiler about Colleen finding coloured hair extension (like Jana's) and Carmen's drivers licence at Korbel's apartment make me suspect him. I like the theory that he's being set up much better.
as much as I dont want it to be him, I am afraid that it is. It was odd the way they showed the guy talking and he flipped his phone shut at the exact same time that Adrian did....and it was odd that he called Colleen immediately to see how she was. I so hope its not him, they are making it look too obvious. But this writer, LML, isnt as good as the old writers were. (not as bad as AMC and OLTL, but still)
