according to raven this week both alexa & justin are not planning to renew their contracts. they want to try things in sunny california.
one's contract expires this summer....the other in the fall.
i don't want either one of them to leave. sadly, soap popularity doesn't always tranfer to primetime. eden never nailed any big roles on either tv nor film.....the girl who played maggie hasn't scored anything big either. i think tamara braun (carly #2) has done the best w/sara j. brown (carly #1 not doing too badly either). the guy who played zander on GH has been popping up a bit more often lately.
vanessa marcel, rena sofer have done pretty well tho rena has not hit a long term role on a hit yet. her sit coms failed dismisally. the law & order franchise seems to be the primetime shows most freindly to soap actors, but again they are one shots. most of them seem to end up on other soaps or fading into oblivion.

It will be interesting to see how they do. I think I saw Kelly Ripa's husband on something recently. Can't be too great if I don't even know his name!!! ha ha Alexa is a good actress, but I wonder if the fact that she looks like Britney Spears will hold her back? should she try a whole new look? And well not sure Jamie can really act all that well, he's more eye candy. But I wish them luck, and I'll be glad for the Babe break!!
mark consuelos lol. he actually does get quite a bit of work. i saw him recently on.....one of the L&O's maybe. one of the cop shows at any rate....maybe criminal minds??? argh! hate when i can't remember. he also did a series for a couple of seasons on one of the cable networks w/vivica fox. he played an FBI guy. it was actually pretty good. kelly often mentions he's away on location.
i'd hate to see alexa & justin leave. i love babe & jamie is slightly more tolerable these days lol.
