I sort of watch it, but lately it hasn't been grabbing my attention much. It seems to have gotten pretty silly, but then I've found that much of what's on TV these days is either a puke fest of violence or utterly ridiculous. Yep, I'm cranky.
Many evenings, my husband and I flip through the prime time fare, desperately trying to find something we enjoy, and more and more frequently, we end up going to a documentary channel, or looking for a movie on the cable thingy we got at Christmas. And even that's not so hot! I must have looked at 8 previews last night trying to find us a movie before turning the damn thing off.
One of them, something about Me and Dupree, was absolutely horrible, and I understand it did pretty well in the theatres. So OMG, I guess it's just us being super-picky. And while I'm bitching, look what's happened to Lost! It used to be so fantastic in season one, and now this crap (IMHO) is unwatchable.
Anyhoo, we still like watching American Idol once the major eliminations are done. And Criminal Minds can be really good if they lay off the gore. That's probably our number one TV show right now. Oh, and Boston Legal, love it! Even that show can be awfully goofy, but James Spader and Bill Shatner can pull it off well enough.
Oh good his ex wife is a nut. Although he's not far behind.
I think Mike will get his feelings for Susan back and propose too.
I know what you mean about TV being really bad lately. That is why I used to enjoy my daytime so much. Then I wouldn't watch anything at night. The kids watch Dora and Scooby do, or the Good Night show, it's really cute.
Or we rent movies. Which is dumb because we have so many cable channels we pay for!
Our ON Demand is cool, I was watching a biography about President Lincoln last night, Much better than HS History class!!
And they also have recipes on demand too, I watched how to make cheescake and I can't get that out of my head. As soon as I get to the grocery store, it'll be cheescake for dessert!!
I kind of like Orson, so I am glad that they managed to clear him. And who was the second death, I only saw the crazy wife. I thought last nights show was pretty good. I am loving this Andrew.
And as far as I have read Marcia is doing good, they are doing pretty good with her double on the show too. Ive read that they built a duplicate of bree's kitchen so that they can film at Marcia's house since she is sposed to be on bed rest
Didn't Orson's mother die last night too? I saw a bit of the end - Orson carried what looked like his dead mother and placed her on the ground in front of the house where his crazy ex fell out of the attic window. There were two bodies in front of the shrubbery. I think, LOL.
i read a lot of spoilers over at the other board. And I think Gabby and Carlos will be back together at some point. But I guess Carlos and Edie are gonna get together for a little while. Her son is going to be on next week (or the week after, i guess we dont get a show next week)
i have to admit i was just about ready to give up on DH. then they had the hostage situation which i thught was fabulous. i also kept watching b/c i love lynette & her family. i fancy myself a bit like lynette in terms of attitude lol.
lately i think it's been picking up. maybe marc cherry is taking on more of the writing???
orson's mother didn't die, but i don't think we'll be seeing her much if at all. she suffered multiple strokes. she has lost her ability to communicate or move. she does apparently understand what is being said to her & has her memory lol. exwife is dead. i actually am glad that orson has been redeemed. i love this actor!

I just hope that it doesnt come out that he ran down Mike, I like Orson too and think him and Bree are perfect together. The next episode of DH is supposed to be narrated by the guy who played Rex. The show will focus more on the men of Wisteria Lane. Should be fun.
I almost forgot he ran down Mike! That's so bad. Mike is one of my favorites! But I do like Susan's current boyfriend too. I liked him in that movie with Drew Barrymore, Ever After.
i agree about ian...something a little off about him. as for the proposal remember his wife was in a coma for three years & the death was pretty inevitable.
i had totally forgotten orson had run over mike. damn....just when i thought it was safe to like him lol.

Ian does seem like he is keeping a secret, but Susan deserves to be treated like a princess. It's like a fairytale. I always felt the money was not his, like it all belonged to Jane
Was it 3 years for her coma, I was thinking longer.
shellyinphx wrote: I know it was inevitable, but it is still kind of shady...and in Orson's defense, Mike did practically push him off the roof of the hospital

I think he just wanted an answer about the death of Monique, did he remember who hit him yet?
I dont know if he will remember who hit him, did he even see him? And I kinda think that Ian was responsible for Jane's death. Wasnt it a riding accident.
Will Mike ever get revenge on Edie for the mind game she played with him while he couldn't remember? I'd be really mad if I were him, she had him going for a while, then dumped him when he appeared guilty
probably not, he doesnt seem like the type to do that. Though I am surprised that Susan didnt do more.
Oh and if you dont mind spoilers: they are saying at SOC that the Mike/Susan/Ian triangle will end in May in a surprising way...And I guess we will be seeing Jane's parents. Should be fun, too bad the Oscars are on this weekend, we have to wait til next
Oh yeah, the next episode is going to be titled "My Husband the Pig", this is sposed to be the one narrated by Rex. I guess Marc Cherry names his episodes after Stephen Sondheim songs from a musical. I dont know who that is, but figured someone did
