Well, now that I am returning to work, after six weeks, the arctic cold blast that descended the day I went in for surgery, left this week! Yesterday it was 51 degrees outside when I was driving to the doctor's office.
We had an incredibly mild winter here in Massachusetts until the end of January, and then February was basically arctic for the entire month. I received my first snow of the winter last week, two inches and then ice.
This week, we had three inches of snow one day, and two inches another.
We have a storm coming in tonight, snow and then it is going to turn into torential downpours, with four inches of rain forecast for the morning.
Since I am returning to the office next Monday, I am forecasting an early spring with temperatures in the 60's, starting a few hours after I return to the concrete heaven and a controled environment, away from windows.
Yup, I cursed Massachusetts, by staying home for those first five weeks, weather that made it torture to go outside. I never realized how important my continued employment is to warm weather....
no snow here lol, but tornato warnings are popping up all over the place. they're already making hurricane predictions for this season....i refuse to listen to them yet.

are you anywhere near the land that Dodger bought that is worth 2 billion?
I was wondering about florida and tornados, the news didn't look good
We got 10 cm of snow yesterday, then the sun came out this morning, melting some of it, making puddles everywhere, so that when the temperature drops later today, we'll have ice all over the place. It's the heavy, wet snow, the kind that is so difficult to shovel.
Oh I hate that heavy snow. I think Winter is never going to end this year. It started too early, and it just keeps giving us these wet storms. We should be grateful we had such a drought 2 Summers ago!
