A blizzard descended on us at 1:30 today. It's supposed to turn into freezing rain by 5 and last until Sunday. UGH!

How much snow are you getting?

We have thunderstorm warnings, I get so worried about tornados where we are.

We had the loudest boom of thunder last night, I kid you not, it sounded like a bomb in my back yard!

It woke me with a start and my heart was pounding for like 10 minutes, I barely slept and then the dog gets scared and sits on my head!

Well, now that I am returning to work, after six weeks, the arctic cold blast that descended the day I went in for surgery, left this week! Yesterday it was 51 degrees outside when I was driving to the doctor's office.

We had an incredibly mild winter here in Massachusetts until the end of January, and then February was basically arctic for the entire month. I received my first snow of the winter last week, two inches and then ice.

This week, we had three inches of snow one day, and two inches another.

We have a storm coming in tonight, snow and then it is going to turn into torential downpours, with four inches of rain forecast for the morning.

Since I am returning to the office next Monday, I am forecasting an early spring with temperatures in the 60's, starting a few hours after I return to the concrete heaven and a controled environment, away from windows.

Yup, I cursed Massachusetts, by staying home for those first five weeks, weather that made it torture to go outside. I never realized how important my continued employment is to warm weather....

We got 10 cm of snow yesterday, then the sun came out this morning, melting some of it, making puddles everywhere, so that when the temperature drops later today, we'll have ice all over the place. It's the heavy, wet snow, the kind that is so difficult to shovel.

Oh I hate that heavy snow. I think Winter is never going to end this year. It started too early, and it just keeps giving us these wet storms. We should be grateful we had such a drought 2 Summers ago!

LOL! The weather is more interesting than the soaps, I guess. I'm watching Y&R right now, and it's a little slower than usual.

OH, just got a call from my d-i-l - they have no hydro or land phone. Darn storm! I'm going to go pick them up. See ya later.

How far did you have to go to pick them up? What's a hydro, are you on an island?
