(SoapOperaNetwork.com) -- According to TVGuideOnline, Judi Evans is set to reprise the role of Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis on NBC’s "Days of Our Lives."
Evans, who got her start in Daytime in the role of Beth Raines on the CBS soap “Guiding Light” in 1983, played Jack and Steve’s sister from 1987 to 1991. She is set to return to Salem to help her brother, Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols), as he tries to overcome the rough road ahead of him.
Just a week before, Evans wrapped up onscreen as Bonnie Lockhart, when it was revealed that she was covering up for her own daughter, Mimi (Farah Fath), in the murder of her husband, David Lockhart. Though it turned out to be self-defense, Bonnie convinced Mimi to let her take the rap, so Mimi would have a shot at a real future.
Here’s what Judi Evans had to say about her impending return, "It's been 15 years since Adrienne's been on the canvas. God knows what's been going on in her life. All I know about the upcoming story is that I'm coming back to help my brother, Steve. I'm kind of going in blind!" And that’s not the only thing that’s unclear. Evans states that her return as Adrienne is open-ended. “I'm not sure if I'll be on contract or not. Whatever works for Ken. Basically, if Ken says jump, I say how high. I feel grateful to him for giving me so many golden opportunities. I'm just so glad to be going back to Days.”
Judi Evans returns as Adrienne Kiriakis on Tuesday, May 1.

I bet they will like dye her hair or something so that she doesn't look like Bonnie. I am not sure how they will pull it off. I love the character of Adrienne though and am glad that she is back to help her brother. I just wish there wasnt this Bonnie mess in the middle of it
