My brother called me last night (which was so sweet cuz I just love the lil guy and he is usually so busy playing with his friends he forgets about his big sis) and informed me that on his way to catechism the pries almost "took him out". Of course I kinda freaked because of the bad rep priests have, then he told me that the priest hit my step-dad's car on the passenger side and if his dad hadn't had his crap in the seat he would have sat there he'd have gotten hit. The crazy thing is that the priest didn't even seem to care that he had just hit someone. He checked to make sure there were no serious injuries and before my step-dad could call the cops to write a report he had run into the church. THe priest insisted that they didn't need one because it was private property but no ins. company will cover a wreck without a police report. So of course they finally called the cops who were reluctant to write the report (small town cops blow) because they couldn't issue a ticket. I guess they didn't read the rules of the road all that well because in chapter 3 it says that a police report must always be filed if there is damage involved over 500.00 or if someone was injured, even if there is no ticketing involved. Eh anyways, it was just crazy I swear all the crazy stuff happens to my family, we can't just get into regular accidents.
I was just thinking today, why does crazy stuff happen to me! I got this dog bite a few months back and it left a terrible scar on my arm. I just knew it would even though I applied vitamin E. And I'm such a dog lover too! And the bigger issue is that it's my son's best friend from the old neighborhood, so now I dont' know if I want my son to sleep over at their house with that dog there. And I'm sure if I bring it up to the mom, she'll be offended at the notion! But this kid really is my son's best friend, and I don't want to mess that up
