Brad and Victoria - she tells him she bought a pregnancy test and it's positive! He's thrilled, picks her up, spins her around. Victoria's happy as well.
Nick and Phyllis discuss the development, but Phyllis's mind is on overhearing Sharon and Brad and the fact that they had slept together one night in NYC.
Dru and Neil at GCAC having a meal. She has a new appreciation of freedom and he looks forward to her coming back to work with him. She's not looking forward to bumping into David Chow.
Sharon and David. He asks her if there's anything in her past that could ruin Jack's campaign, since she's his significant other. She's a bit dumbfounded, doesn't know what to say. He says she has to spill all. She gags, lol. Then she tells him about Cassie. David doesn't think it's all that unusual, but she has to make a list of all her past missteps and talk to him about them later in the day. And if she can't do that, she'll never get through a political campaign.
David stops by Neil and Dru's table to announce he's going to have to step aside from Newman while he handles Jack's campaign. Dru isn't impressed with his "fresh start" attitude, thinks nothing has changed.
Nick warns his sister that having a baby with Carlton isn't going to make her feel more secure, mentions Sharon's connection to Brad.
Sharon runs into Brad in the hall, tells him about her meeting with David, and how it didn't really go all that well. Nick overhears, makes a couple of jibes. Sharon says all of Jack's associates will be fair game, so they had better be prepared, too.
Niki tells Victor that the media is going to cruxify Sharon because of her past.
Nick drops the news on Phyllis about Victoria's pregnancy, and says his sister has dropped the whole Sharon bit. Both are hmmmm over it.
Nick and Phyllis agree that Victoria needs to know about Brad if she's going to have his baby and he trots off to talk to his sister. Phyllis calls and asks for all the expense accounts for Brad and Sharon's business trips last summer.
Sharon meets Dru at NE and notes that Dru is still paranoid about David.
David tells Victor and Niki that Sharon's past may be a deal-breaker in this very conservative riding. Victor thinks Sharon should stop dating Jack for now, and Chow agrees.
Brad and Neil have a small scene in an elevator - dislike for each other. Neil makes a comment about Brad's ego being too big.
Brad and Victoria want to propose a compromise for Clear Springs - restoration of the historical buildings. Victor nixes it off the bat, and will not entertain anything different from Jack's plan, whether they like it or not. Niki, who was there too, asks Victor to at least listen, but Victor is adamant.
Neil is in the break room with Dru and Sharon, complains how he's had it with Brad and the way he orders him around.
Viki is saddened that her father is siding with Jack and not with her. She hoped he would like her recommendations and then she could share the good news, and they'd all celebrate. Brad commisreates, holds her. I missed a little to change my keyboard batteries.
Phyllis reviews the expense accounts from summer and pieces together the Brad and Sharon hook up. The enormous breakfast ordered from room service is the final piece of evidence that he spent the night in Sharon's room (or she in his - missed that part).
Nick is pissed off that Viki didn't tell him about the meeting with Victor and Niki. Brad snipes at Nick, he back at him. Viki asks her brother to help her with the restoration proposal, but he's not interested.
Phyllis runs into Sharon, asks her if she's familiar with the Ashford Baron Hotel in NYC. Sharon flashes back to a couple of encounters with Brad, the kiss, the love-making - same scenes as yesterday's flashbacks. Sharon tells Phyllis to ask Jack about the hotel since he's staying there now. David shows up, asks for Sharon's list. Phyllis is in full meddling mode!
Victor insists to Niki that there will be no financial risk to NVP - he's funding the project himself. Niiki isn't comfortable with his tactics to get NVP back for her (away from Jack) and he tells her that she'll just have to trust him.
Sharon enters Brad's office complaining that Phyllis was asking her about that damn hotel. Viki bursts in, Sharon asks what's going on. Viki tells her they are having a baby. Sharon congratulates them, but she's clearly a little upset by the news.
Dru rants to Neil about Brad and Granville Global and how Brad stole it from him. Neil thinks it's about time he let the company know his worth.
Nick and Phyllis talk about putting together a plan for him - didn't get that scene. He dashes off for a conference call. Phyllis calls the hotel in NYC, asks for room service to learn if Carlos is still on staff. (He must have been the waiter that brought room service breakfast to Brad and Sharon the morning in question.)
Chow stops Sharon - he's looked over her list, wants to talk for a minute. He says he's in no position to judge her, and he isn't going to hold her past against her, asks her out for dinner to make it up to her for putting her through this.
Neil confronts Victor about giving Brad a board seat and thereby putting Brad above him in the copmpany. Victor agrees. Neil wants a seat on the board of directors. Victor says "you and I think alike, don't we".
Phyllis interupts Brad and Viki cooing about the baby. Viki leaves and Phyllis confronts Brad about her info, says she wants Brad to vote with Nick on Clear Springs or Viki will learn about the NYC incident with Sharon.
