Work is all over the place... I have two moronic co-workers and the rest are great. I was really surprised at how exhausted I was last Wednesday night. I was asleep at 7:30, and got up at 6:30 the next day. I worked from home on Thursday, and was in bed at 6:30 that night. My entire Friday was obsessed with getting home from work and getting some sleep.

The weekend was wonderful, I caught up on errands and started my spring cleaning. My buddy Steve came over on Sunday for dinner, and we hung out. He's my dysfunctional relationship, that turned really functional when we found out about the surgery, and all through my recovery. I'm absolutely crazy about the man. He is the same man from way back when we first started out on the board, and I posted in Jessica's perfect mate thread.... We hung out, laughed and tested out my recovery. I'll just say, without going into TMI, that my surgeon did a great job and Steve wants to shake his hand if we ever bump into him out!

I'm just a little bit more tired than before, but physically everything has healed up, and I fell better than before the surgery. They did warn me that it could take up to three months to get my energy back to where it was before the surgery, because the whole abdominal incision did alot of damage to muscles, and my body is still redirecting energy down there. I'm finding that I'm a little bit moodier than prior to the surgery, my hormones are still slightly out of whack, but nothing like those first few weeks.

I really can't wait for spring to set in here, I want green grass, and to have a rake in my hand. The six weeks at home in winter really gave me a serious case of cabin fever, even though I'm getting out now. I really need a vacation. I'm trying to convince my friend Al to go to Vegas for a long weekend, and he's working on his parter Bill, to let him go. It's not like I'm a threat to the relationship. We're going to try for the end of May.

If I can find an inexpensive ticket to Ireland I'm going to try for a long weekend early in April. My parents are there right now, and will be coming back mid-April, so that's a possibility.

Otherwise, same old, same old. Oh, I refinanced my house, and took a few dollars out, so I paid off my credit cards, and I have a nice little nest egg for some home improvements, I just don't know what I want. I'm leaning towards a new swimming pool, something above ground, square, and on the idea of an in-ground, but withonly the four foot depth. I can't afford an in-ground, they're around $35,000, slightly out of my budget....

Anyway, what's going on with you, and the close of winter?

I had a feeling you'd be tired! Have they got you on some good vitamins? Will you have to do hormone replacement?
So Steve is a romantic interest then??
I look forward to spring too, and yet there's alot of yard work ahead. although I love doing my garden and flowers
We had a great day at least 70! I've been walking my son to school, hoping to drop some Winter pounds! I hate when I get to this weight, it takes forever to lose, and I had been so good for so long, and then it crept up on me and now I'm so miserable. Walking should help and I'm trying so hard to watch what I eat, it's hard!

Everything in my pantry is bad, I have to get to the store for alot of good fruits and some whole grains.

Ireland would be so wonderful!

And Vegas, we might go in October, not for sure yet.
