That was some of the best emotional reactions we've seen in the recent history of OLTL. Todd's reaction was great and it was completely intensified by Cristian of all people being the one to hold him back from mauling Cole. Marty was straight forward and logical in her emotions and Blair was once again dead on in her screaming mode. It was too bad that Miles didn't get to have some reaction but I think his lack of reaction totally jived with his inexperienced in life character. I did find Todd tossing Starr into the chair a tich over the top but all and all this was a great end for the episode and even the catty exchange with Brittany and Langston was done well.
Bravo for a successful scene and I would say a great cross-mixing of storylines here. Just look at it:
Starr-Cole is the elevator for the Todd-Blair-Evangeline-Cristian situation mixed with the Todd-Blair-Marty drama and poor Miles stuck in the middle between Marty and Blair. All of this was done with excellence. About the first time I've seen a good crossroads for the show in awhile.
This gets the first strong thumbs up from me for the year!

It was a real treat to have had some depth and emotional intensity in that episode. For one day I actually enjoyed OLTL instead of watching it out of habit and stubborness.
Some random observations about yesterday: Miles is starting to give me the creeps. Marty's hair is much better without the ringlets. Cris is hot when not around the lawyer. Tate's weird at best.
Yeah I still don't quite get Tate yet. Clearly he's riding that line of funny ha-ha and funny but serious when it comes to Adrianna. I wonder how he'll win her over if he does at all. Cristian is much more tolerable away from Evangeline. In fact he was kind of likeable when discussing things with Blair.
Miles is creeping you out? Even if I hadn't read rumors that there's more to Miles then meets the eye, I would definitely have to wonder about the guy and what his true motives are.

That scene with Tate naked and Adriana was just the strangest thing. It didn't fit in with anything else in the episode. It must have been inserted by one of the writing team's perverts, lol.
Cristian and Evangeline have always made me gag. It was so nice to be able to enjoy his air time when he and Blair were talking in the morning.
Miles, just UGH. I rather liked him at first, but now, with his Gomer Pyle gee shucks thing going on, then him watching Rex and Adriana make out, ick. Marty, the brilliant psychiatrist, doesn't see this guy as trouble?
well I must be fooled by Miles, because I kind of like him, I don't think he actually saw Adrianna and Rex making out on the other side of the sofa, I think he was listening to their vows of love I will hate it if they turn him into a pscho like Spencer or Mitch, why can't we ever just have a nice guy. Like Sam, he was nice Troy was nice and they turned him psycho and that really aggrivates me, why do they ruin people. Keri too, can't they just move out of town? I'm glad Lindsay is reformed, I like her alot lately.
only people who have never raised a teen would think todd's reaction is over the top lol. they regularly bring you to the point of wanting to shake them until their teeth fall out & their eyeballs roll clear across the floor!!! i'm speaking from experience here, guys HEE.
the scene was great. my only thing w/it was why on earth do they insist on airing their dirty laundry in such a public place? it drives me nutz!!! i know, i know....it's the drama of the whole thing. gag me.
i like martie. i always have....btw, i love her curls b/c my daughter has hair like that.
of course as parents of teens todd/blair/martie are doing everything wrong. it makes me want to give them a good lecture rofl.
the one thing that does really bother me is the fact that todd has been forgiven much. i'd rather he be more compassionate to cole & star......it would increase the tensions betwee he & blair ~~~ all that being on opposite sides & all.
