I was over on a myspace page of a soap scoop person and she said that there is a rumor going around that when Alexa leaves the show that they may recast Babe. The person rumored for the part is Erin Hershey Presley, the girl who was on Port Charles
Nothing against Alexa, but I think a recast, especially Erin would breathe some fresh life into that character and maybe I could start to like her/watch again
i love erin & think she'd be a great recast. she's been up for a few abc roles but in spite of frons's backing she hasn't landed anything. she did origonally audition for babe.

She would be a good recast, and perhaps bring a new dimension to the character. I'm getting pretty sick of voids left by major characters leaving, attempted to be filled by newbies.
If we look at how well two out of the three Carly recasts on GH did, it definitely shows that recasts definitely work, and can add new dimensions to characters.
