sow spoilers and ingo interview

Emily/Nik/Robin
Nikolas Kisses Robin...And Gives Emily The Kiss-Off!
Emily is hit smack in the face with Nikolas and Robin this week on GH, when she catches the two in a lip-lock.

"Emily stumbles in on a conversation between Robin and Patrick," sets up Natalia Livingston. "She hears Patrick say that Robin is living with Nikolas. Emily is shocked. She and Nikolas haven't spoken since they got into an argument, and Nikolas said he wasn't sure about them getting remarried."

Still, shacking up with Robin seems odd.

"Emily asks Robin, 'Is this true?' Robin says yes, and Emily can't believe it. She feels betrayed. She can't believe her friend would do this to her. But Emily is pretty smart. A part of her knows this can't be true. Something else has to be going on." continues NL.

So Emily heads to Wyndemere to confront Nikolas. Unfortunately, she finds him and Robin locked in a kiss - all orchestrated by Mr. Craig.

"The whole thing keeps getting stranger," sighs NL. "Emily doesn't want to completely jump to the conclusion that this is for real. So she does a few things to test Nikolas, to see if he really cares about Robin or if he still has feelings for her."

Nope, Nikolas declares his love for...Robin! "Nikolas explains that he and Robin have known each other for years and that they bonded and realized their feelings for each other during the hostage crisis," gulps NL. "Emily leaves heartbroken and confused. She's devastated. Yet, she still senses that something else is going on - and she's determined to figure it out."

Buzz
Genie Francis admits she never watched her heartbreaking last episodes on GH, when Laura slipped back into catatonia. "We'd been watching the shows as they aired as a family, because [in Maine] GH is on later. So my children were home from school," shares GF. "But when we got to the ending, it was so sad - particularly when Laura was saying goodbye to her children. My daughter Elizabeth went upstairs to her room. I went up after her, and she started to cry. It was too much for her. So I didn't turn the show on anymore."

Misc Stuff
Which Former Character On Your Show Would You Most Like To See Return?
Rebecca Herbst: "Juan, because I would love to get paid to do love scenes with my husband (Michael Saucedo)."

Jason Thompson: "Just hearing Kimberly talk about Tristan Rogers (Robert) and Finola Huges (Anna), it would be great to have them come back. They brought such a great dynamic to the show, and she has so many great stories about them. It would be cool if they returned."

Mail
The Sonny letter is written by his Website Person I think, everytime I see a Sonny letter I swear it's from her I think. Just rambling here lol

Public Opinion
Memorial Disservice
It's insulting enough to GH's Stuart Damon and his fans that Alan's death became a plot point for the Liz/Jason baby story, but would an entire show dedicated to his passing have been too much to ask for? Jason, the Dalai Lama of Port Charles, was the only Quartermaine whose grief amounted to anything. Liz lied that she was going to see Emily, when in truth she went to see jason. Lucky, Emily's oldest friend, did not get one scene with her. But who did he extend his condolences to? Jason. No other Quartermaine's grief amounted to much because they weren't too busy shooting people to be with Alan when he died. And three newbies (Cooper, Logan, Amelia) were introduced as Alan was ushered off. Why give us pretty boys who can't act to pick up the slack? ~Beth Ausband, Columbia, SC.

Sonny Side Up
Maurice Benard has totally sold Sonny's love for his ex. He's been amazing. But it's past time for this triangle with Jax and Carly to be over. He deserves to find someone who accepts him and wants to be with him. I'd love to see him taking care of mob business and having scenes with his kids. He can continue his friendship with Alexis, have scenes with Luke - maybe even reconnect with his father. Heck, he can play the field! There are so many Sonny stories to tell. Please let Sonny move on. ~Cathy Nalewajka, Normal, IL

Mail Call
Scotty would never let Laura take the rap for his crimes...

U Said It To Us
has a long letter about the ridiculous and one-sided custody battle titled "No Win in Ric's Custody Victory"

Blind Item
File this under inappropriate behaviour: At a recent industry event, one East Coast actor reached into a female reporter's purse and inquired whether she was carrying condoms. As a matter of fact, no...the box he grabbed was batteries for her tape recorder.

Ingo Interview
What's interesting to me is how Little the actors Think about Story, Unlike us LOL!

Playboy Interrupted [This is long, so I'm going to skip the talk about where and what he did on holiday and just type up show-related stuff]

After a decade of GH's resident Casanova, Ingo Rademacher is eagerly settling into stepdaddy mode.

After a two-month vacation, half work and half play, IR returned to the GH fold in February refreshed and ready to tackle the trials and tribulations of millionaire Jasper Jacks. So far, it's been an interesting ride.

SOW: You get a lot of time off from GH. Are any of your castmates jealous?
IR: Everyone can ask for vacations if they want. A lot of people don't ask for them. I remember when I first started working on the show, I didn't ask for that much vacation time. Then I realized that if you don't ask, you don't actually get any time off unless it's the week over Christmas.

SOW: Since your GH return, you've been thrust into major story. Jax found out his fiancee, Carly, wed and bedded her ex, Sonny. Was it exciting to come back with such a bang?
IR: Yes. That gave the story a good twist. Otherwise, we would have just gotten right back into where we left off. This gives us some drama to play.

SOW: Do you find the Sonny/Jax rivalry fun and interesting to play after all these years?
IR: Oh, yeah. It's different this time around. Maurice and I are playing it with more of a mutual respect for each other. It's not so childish anymore. They've both grown up a little bit. Even though Jax and Sonny don't like each other, they're not into fistfighting anymore. Sonny is being up-front about the fact that he wants Carly, and Jax is doing the same thing. They're both going, 'I don't think she's going back to you.' Jax and Sonny both have that ego attitude. It makes it funny in a way.

SOW: How do you like working with Laura Wright?
IR: I love working with Laura. We try to keep our scenes fairly light and always try to put a little bit of real humour into them. Sometimes the scenes can get a little cheesy, but we try to make them as real as possible and have fun with them. We try to make Jax and Carly characters that can laugh at each other's faults and mistakes. If you could see the outtakes and bloopers, that would be awesome. We always add stuff to it to make it funnier - but you won't see that on the air.

SOW: It's too much for daytime?
IR: (laughing) Or cable.

SOW: There's been a lot of mention of Jax's brother, Jerry, lately. Would you welcome having the character back on the show?
IR: Yes, although I don't know what kind of story they would do. It would depend on how they'd write it. Where does he fit in? I don't know. I don't sit around thinking about storyline.

SOW: Speaking of Jax's family, what's your relationship with Barbara Tarbuck, who plays your mom Jane, like?
IR: I love Barbara. She's been playing my mom since 1996. It's been 11 years! I wish they had her on more. She's fun to work with, and the stuff she had with Laura was great.

SOW: Does the Jane character remind you of your own mom at all?
IR: A little bit. She kind of gets in my business, as most mothers do. And she's fun. I guess they do have a little bit in common in the way that they're always looking after their little boy.

SOW: You have a lot of scenes with the boys who play Carly and Sonny's sons, Michael and Morgan. Is that ever difficult?
IR: No. It's a lot of fun when we have the kids on set, because there's a lot of ad-libbing going on. People say that sometimes it's hard to work with kids, but I love working with the boys. Laura and I have good fun in our scenes with them and that comes across on-screen.

SOW: Jax started out as an international playboy, but has morphed into more of a stepfather type. Do you ever miss the character's old days?
IR: Actually, I don't miss that. It's more fun doing the real drama, the real family drama. This is more interesting, because the fans can relate to it.

SOW: We just ran a picture of you with your girlfriend Ehiku and her niece. How long have you and Ehiku been dating?
IR: I don't want to comment on that.

SOW: But she's your girlfriend?
IR: Yes.

SOW: Well, then, back to Jax. He has always been depicted as a romantic hero. No one will ever forget his proposal to Carly on the docks, complete with music and candles. Are you that romantic in real life?
IR: No. That's a real stretch for me. I'm not like that.

SOW: You wouldn't do something like that?
IR: Probably not. It's way too much.
