Sharon is alive and recovering in the hospital from hypothermia. Brad's a little more concerned than he ought to be. Lily's a moping mess, Daniel defends his mother. There's a problem developing between these two.
Nick and Phyllis go over to Michael and Lauren's to fill in Noah on the accident, Nick tells him Sharon be fine after a while. The doctors will keep her for a bit, give her meds to warm her up. Noah wants to see her right away, Nick says let her rest, but we'll call her.
Victor comforts Neil who is beginning to think he's seen the last of Dru.
Brad lets himself into Sharon's room and offers to fill in for Jack who had to leave. Sharon tells Brad about the fall, he asks what happened with Phyllis. Sharon ssys Phyllis was about to call Jack to tell him about their ONS.
Michael is trying to break through Phyllis's barrier but she's resisting like mad, then breaks down, agrees to let him take care of her.
Maggie comes back to the cafe with Dru's jacket found downstream below the falls. Dru has been presumed dead and the rescue operation has been reclassified a recovery. Neil's in shock, Lily and Devon hang onto each other.
Victor and Jack are back at the hospital and go into Sharon's room, tell her they haven't found Dru, and she's presumed dead. Sharon weeps.
Phyllis announces to Michael, Lauren and Nick that Dru didn't make it. Phyllis says it's all her fault, she did this and has a panic attack. Michael calms her down, says he doesn't know what he'd have done if she'd gone over that ledge, kisses her, as Nick and Lauren look on rather puzzled.

Brad to JAck - "that's low, Jack, even for you". And Jack replies, "and you have a right to judge me?"
Lily asks Daniel about the naked girl on his phone. AHA - he's finally caught!!
Neil calls Phyllis a sorry excuse for a human being, right to her face.
aww...everyone over at SOC is happy that Phyllis is finally getting some payback for all the stuff she has done over the years....But I am not, she is one of my faves on the show.....The Mikey stuff is a bit disturbing though
I'm with you regarding Phyllis, Shelly. I've never wanted anything bad for her. I see her as extremely vulnerable and she's had plenty of heartbreak. It was that bitch that had Jack's baby, Kyle...what was her name? Diane? Anyway, it was Diane that got me rooting for Phyllis. No wait, even before that, it was Christine and her self-rightteous persecution of Phyllis that drew me in.
Wait until you see the scene with Michael at the end of this epi! It's wonderful stuff! Can't wait for your reaction to that kiss!! I know it was friends making up, but it was quite a scene!!
for me it has always been Michelle Stafford...what was that girls name who played her before...either way, I love Phyllis and would love to see Sharon get what she deserves for a change
I think Michelle was the original Phyllis, but she was replaced with another redhead when MS went off to a prime time soap. Was it called Pallisades? Anyway, it got cancelled and MS came back to Y&R. It took a few weeks for me to accept the replacement, but I was so glad when Michelle returned.
I like Sharon, too, but I'd sacrifice her for Brad getting his due over the NYC one nighter. I really can't stand the guy.
Shelly, what do you think of the spoiler at SOC that Summer will turn out to be Jack's baby? I hope that this is fan fiction, but somebody there said it was likely true as the source was reliable.
I actually have kind of thought that all along. Remember no one but Nick saw the results. Though its odd that he would say the baby was his but then he still tried to make his marriage work
Anyways, Phyllis and Jack are one of my favorite couples ever and would love for them to make it back together
I liked Jack and Phyllis too, but I don't like the PTB using the cheap trick of mistaken paternity. It certainly would cause a bit of drama, though.
As much as I resisted the idea of Phyllis with Nick, especially since Jack was Nick's step-father, I actually do enjoy them as a couple. It surprised me, but I do. Their age difference doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would, either.
But what I won't swallow is that Nick lied about the paternity results. That would have been ridiculous, non?
I agree it doesnt make any sense...and I do like Nick and Phyllis...But I like Nick and Sharon more...and I am sure they will get back together. I think they will be like Nikki and Victor and will always find there way back
