It's a darn good thing I typed in today's date - it reminded me that it's an old friend's birthday, and she'd never forgive me if I didn't call her! Y&R will start in a minute.
Phyllis asks Jack if he thinks there's something going on between Sharon and Brad. Jack says he's making too much of it, Phyllis says he probably is. Jack asks her if she knew something, she'd tell, right? Phyllis recalls to herself her promise to keep quiet, then flash over to Brad and Sharon kissing.
Lauren plays with her new camera, points it to Michael and Fen, talks about how high tech it is. Michael recognises that it's not about picture quality, she's afraid someone is going to take Fen.
Gloria watches as Bardwell brings a bouquet of peonies for Jill to NE. She removes the card and reads Bardwell's apology and request for another chance. Jill enters and remarks that it's odd there's no card. Gloria says nothing.
Kevin enters his mom's office and learns that she managed to get a libido booster for Bardwell. Tonight's the night! And she spiked the coffee for Jill with extra caffeine.
Mike questions Lauren about the expansion of Fenmores at the new mall in Clear Springs, says she needs to be careful because Jack's intentions might be self-serving because of the election. He warns her to take it slowly.
Jack asks Phyllis again about Sharon and she says if Sharon's friendship with Brad nbothers him, he should talk to her about it.
Sharon break off the kiss with Brad with guilt over Jack. Brad says she won't be happy with Jack and if she marries him it'll be a mistake. She's going to marry Jack because he loves her and she cares about him. There is no "them" (Sharon and Brad) and she can't take this any more, can't be in love with him any more. "It's over between us, Brad."
Sharon's in tears over her "break-up" with Brad. He says it easy for him either, and he thinks about her all the time, the way her hair smells...he never wanted it to be this way, didn't want to hurt her. He says if he could rewrite history, they'd be together forever. She tells him to go take care of his wife. He says he loves Victoria but it doesn't compare to what he feels for her (Sharon). SHe says none of that matters, they don't have a future - Victoria's pregnant. He says he can't put his desires ahead of his responsibilities.
Cute and easy exchange between Jack and Phyllis - about Noah and Summer, and when he marries Sharon, they'll share a step-son. Jack says he wants to be sure he and Sharon are fully committed before they get married.
Jill and Ji Min - did Gloria spike his coffee with the libido booster? I think so! (I thought it was for Bardwell, but I think Gloria's plotting to put Jill and Ji Min togther.)
Gloria lets it slip to Mike and Lauren that she read Ji Min's email and that's how she knows that her trip to Japan (?) was to keep her away from Extreme Catwalk. Kevin's jaw drops. Mike's not happy, Kevin admits he hacked into Ji Min's email. Gloria says she made him do it. Kevin says Jack and Ji Min are in collusion. Mike asks for all the info from the very beginning.
Ji Min and Jill are knocking back more coffee to stay awake for their project. He takes some of her caffeinated, she's drooling over him, lol.
Sharon tells Brad they can never do this again, ever, and they embrace. Longing, sad looks. She follows him to her door and he says Jack must have been a saint in a past life to deserve her, then leaves. Jack calls her to check in, says he'll just finish up there at work and be right over. Phylllis overhears and sends Jack off, she'll finish up for him.
Things are heating up between Jill and Ji Min. No action yet, but lots of double entendres.
Kevin tells Mike and Lauren that he bought the illegal software to search for Jana, but he'll swear off hacking...Mike says no - he wants Kevin to continue, to find out the extent of Jack's connection to Ji MIn. "This has gone too far."
JIll and Ji Min kiss passionately over the news that Jabot won the sponsorship for the 2008 olympics.
Lauren and Mike join with Gloria in her revenge against Jack, and Kevin says he can feed the security cameras into his system and spy on Jabot 24/7.
Ji Min fantasises about kissing Jill...big time! (That other kiss might have also been a fantasy.) Jill finds the card from the bouquet that Gloria threw out - has a WTH look on her face. Ji Min leaves Jill to make a long call from his office.
Kevin demonstrates his spyware, tunes into the board room where they see Ji Min and Jill. Lauren's not comfortable with spying, Mike asks Kevin to go to Ji Min's office next.
Phyllis calls Sharon, asks her to back away frrom marrying Jack if she isn't sure. Jack doesn't deserve to be hurt. She also tells her that Jack has been asking questions about her and Brad, but she kept her promise and said nothing. Sharon's really cynical about Phyllis's word and hangs up.
Kevin's camera catches Bardwell going in to the boardroom as Jill had invited him over. Gloria's pissed.
Jack arrives at the ranch with goodies for Sharon. Brad calls his wife from Indigo, just a check in.
Sharon's missing Dru, Jack sympathises, wants to be that kind of friend for her. In a discussion about honesty, he asks her if there's something going on between her and Brad, and she replies, to his relief, that no, there isn't. She goes on to say she can't wait to be his wife, and they hug. But both Sharon and Jack have sad and worried expressions on their faces.
