Okay, I understand that CNN, ABC, etc are going to cover this Virginia Tech shooting from every angle in every way possible. It's their job, it's what they do, even if they're not just a little overzealous about. I have only one problem so far....
WHY THE HELL DO I NEED TO SEE THE ASSHOLE SHOOTER'S FACE?
Honestly, do I need to see it? No not really. All it does is piss me off. Every time I see his face the immediate phrase that comes to me is "Rot in hell you piece of sh--". What's the point in showing anyone who the guy is/was? It's a glorification of what this prick whether they mean to or not. I don't need to see his face plastered everywhere on the main pages of every news site I go to. Hell ESPN had this guy's face up! Went to hotmail, same gig. Comcast to check my other e-mail, there the prick is again. Why? Why do we need to see it? And better yet, why show it? Screw him, don't show his picture, don't tell us a damned thing about his life because frankly, he doesn't deserve it.

I dont even bother looking when they show his face. I just cant believe how young he was....the article I was just reading said that he was a loner and they are having troubles learning anything about him.....Arent all the psychopathic freaks loners
I haven't watched much cnn so I've only seen the pic once. It's just so weird for me to fathom because he's my age. No matter how many times they described him as being of Asian descent, I still imagined that square jawed, ticked off emo boy. He just looked so normal. Now don't get me wrong, I surely don't want to see it a million times . Oh and one other thing, even though this boy did a gruesome horrific thing, I do feel for his family. I know that if there is any family still around back at his home, they must be feeling horrendous right now.
they probably feel embarrassed too. If I remember right, a lot of Asian decent type people dont like to have their name tarnished. And you are right, they probably do feel horendous. I know I would. And I would feel bad for not having a clue about what was going on with my son
They're back at it again! CNN is now showing pictures from this lunatics video he sent. Truth be told, this guy clearly was a fucking nutcase. Do you glorify the nutcase or do you ignore him now that he's dead? It's the last one folks.

I havent' seenany of the video or anything but from the sounds of it, the only good it can do is to inspire other nut jobs to do the same thing. The fact that NBC played into his hands like they have is disgusting!
Yeah its like he's getting more publicity dead than he did when he was alive which exactly what he wanted. I guess we can hang it up though guys because the media isn't gonna let it die (bad word usage in this situation probably) or stop talking about it anytime soon. Also we now have the 24hour cable news cycle and they need to feed the beast so bad for us but this fits the bil at least for a good long while.
