I don't trust anybody at ABCD to make a tasteful choice here, or anywhere else. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they went ahead and ran the footage just as they had it in March.
Bones cancelled (delayed) an episode where college students were murdered. it was set to air this week.
i'm sure they are doing heavy editing/reshooting scenes to either remove the SL (they may not be able to do this totally......or modify it in some way.

The whole not airing thing is going to be really tough for them, because they've already shot most of it from the sounds of things. It really could have been an interesting sl, it's just a shame that art has to imitate life.
Yesterday they had the funeral for the girl from Centralia. I didn't even know there were any victims from around here until then.
In the wake of the Virginia Tech tragedy, OLTL has decided to pull the May storyline focusing on a Llanview High hostage situation. The plot in question, which was written and filmed back in March, had teens Starr, Cole, Langston and Britney held at gunpoint by fellow teen Henry. "In light of the recent tragic events, ABC Daytime has pulled the story that affected 17 different episodes and is working to re-write, re-tape, re-edit and entirely re-work the show in order to deal with this story in the most sensitive way possible," a rep for ABC confirms. Reportedly, there were never any plans for blood to be shed, and while Henry intends to kill the students and commit suicide, he was ultimately stopped. "Out of respect to those affected by this devastating tragedy, especially the families, I felt that it was important to remove this storyline from our show," adds Frank Valentini, OLTL's Executive Producer.

I actually wouldnt mind seeing a story like this done at some point. If done well it could be really good. And I kinda think that OLTL has a pretty good teen set for this.
(SoapOperaNetwork.com) -- After much discussion and evaluation, ABC decides to pull the plug on an upcoming "One Life to Live" storyline.
ABC has made the decision to pull the upcoming high school hostage storyline on "One Life to Live." The network had been debating whether or not to proceed with the storyline, in light of last week's tragedy at Virginia Tech.
In a statement released to Access Hollywood by ABC, the network stated that "In light of the recent tragic events, ABC Daytime has pulled the story that affected 17 different episodes and is working to re-write, re-tape, re-edit and entirely re-work the show in order to deal with this story in the most sensitive way possible."
The plot, which was filmed in March, involved members of the Llanview teen scene. The storyline had Henry (Jonathan Groff), upset over being used by his classmates, holds them at gunpoint. However, according to a report in TV Guide, the storyline did not call for any bloodshed. Instead, Henry was stopped before he could carry out his plan to murder his classmates and commit suicide. Other characters involved in the dropped storyline were Starr (Kristen Alderson), Cole (Brandon Buddy), Langston (Brittany Underwood), and Britney (Portia Reiners).
Groff told TV Guide last week before the decision was made to drop the storyline that "We find out Henry has been mistreated by kids his whole life. He's isolated and frustrated and his hormones are exploding. Add Britney and it's a toxic mix." It appears that Britney's rejecting him is what fianlly pushed him over the edge.
According to "OLTL" Executive Producer Frank Valentini, "Out of respect to those affected by this devastating tragedy, especially the families, I felt that it was important to remove this storyline from our show."
No word yet on what will take the place of the high school hostage storyline, which was scheduled to air beginning May 4th.

I think the story line could have been pulled off well by this group as well. It horrible how this very very sick boy has influenced so many things. I think an Internet predator type of thing would kinda be ok. I could see this group pulling off anything big honestly. I know it might not be the most relevant of topics but one of the kids could overdose on mom or dads perscriptions or something like that.
OH yeah I had almost forgotten about that. Lily is the shit! Ummmm when's the last time tha ta show pulled off a good teen pregnancy story line in which the girl kept the child and raised it on her own (with help from her family that is)? Maybe Henry could become co-obsessed wtih Tate and then at a big public event... ummm inject him with ummmm oh oh I dunno ok I am lost. Alright maybe we can find out that Henry's dad is to blame for all of the arsons, or better yet Britneys. Yeah all of their dads are a bunch of racists and they are doing this stuff. Reminds me of the Death Eaters from Harry Potter but umm different (kinda).
yeah thats been awhile, the only HIV story was done on GH and it could be interesting to see another one. Though I wouldnt want our Starr to have it. And the other kids are too expendable for that.
This is not the first time that an ABC soap has been forced to change a story due to real-world drama. In April 1995, All My Children rewrote a story involving a bomb after the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.
The One Life to Live hostage drama was to have begun playing out on May 4th.
So that would have been this Friday.... so next week should be VERY interesting to see how they swing this.
