bathing suit shopping sucks!

Not only do I hate to see all my fat in the mirror, but then I have to pay such a high price to have a suit that holds everything in, and the lady took forever to ring me up, yucky shopping day

And I couldn't find a thing for my mom for Mother's Day, it's like nothing good is out yet.

Got my m-i-l a robe and night shirt though.

I think I'm going to just use my swimsuit from last year if I can find it. I only used it twice. I just hope I still fit... if not it's super diet time.

The last time I shopped for a bathing suit was so long ago that I had a kid with me that kept crawling under the partitions of the change room freaking out other women putting themselves through the same torture. I buy mine through a catalogue and hope for the best when it arrives. So far, so good.

Mothers Day presents always come from the local nursery. Quick, easy and appreciated.

I'm taking my mom to red Lobster today because she doesn't know what's on the agenda for Sunday. She is one of those people who has everything, so I didn't know what else to do for her.

aww...I wish we had a red lobster. And I wish I could take my mom to dinner. But I cant....oh well. My husband asked me where I want to go, I think I should make him plan it.

I should send my mom flowers

This Mothers'Day we'll all gather at my mom's convalecsent hospital for a picnic. It's on 47 acres of parkland, really lovely with benches and gazebos all over the place. If the weather's good, we can eat outside, but otherwise there's a nice cafeteria that's closed for food but open for use on weekends. I ordered a bunch of tea sandwiches, pickle trays and fruit platters from a new caterer around the corner. Dad's bringing the cookies and Tony is bringing all the tea things. There should be 8 or 9 of us.

If I'm not around this weekend, have a great Mothers' Day everybody! Hope none of us has to pick up a tea towel or spatula once all weekend!

Lol well, my day with my mom was rather eventful. We can never have a quiet simpletime, but that's ok. First I get Aiden all ready to go and on our way out to my mom's car he spits up all over (everywhere except for the spit up bib of course) so I had to change his clothes really quick. Then we get to Red Lobster (mom's favorite restaurant lol) well I told her she didnt' have to worry about the price but of course she wouldn't go all out she didn't even get herself a special appetizer or drink. Eh but that's my mom, you know, one of those things which are totally sitlly but you love because you can count on it. Anyways, Bethany has been a little gaggy lately with all of the sinus pressure caused by the weather, so when she eats she gets a little chokey, but she has never gotten sick from it... until today. Yeah right there in the middle of the restaurant. So I had her an extra skirt packed but no shirt well, it's a good ting she's so tiny because she actually fit into the extra little white tee shirt I packed for Aiden. By the time I got her all cleaned up mom was done eating (good thing I'm used to eating fast or I'd have been in a bad spot lol) the waiter was sooo good about it (he got a very very nice tip lol). So we left and of course she was fine after that. I kinda think now that she may have taken too large of a bite or choked on her biscuit because she felt fine both before and after. Anyways so mom then drove across town (poor thing doesn't know her way around Springfield so I had to kinda act as the tour guide girl) and over to Fashion Bug to get my Aunt Debbie a gift card for her graduation next week (I'm so proud of her in her 50's and graduating college it takes so much guts to go back after so long .. of course she got a lil help but hey she knew absolutely nothing about computers and they threw her into the advanced class to boot). I am so proud of my mom too because she got herself a cute new top, so trendy and all. I almost cracked up because she admitted to me that she had never spent more than 20.00 on a top for herself, even though she really deserves it. I think it's because of that, that she doesn't get herself the cuter tops and opts for the plain Jane tees. So I know what to get her for her birthday now, ok I might even go get her one for Mother's Day too. I think she'll really like that . Of course I'll have to fib and say it was on sale for absurdly cheap because otherwise she'll feel guilty about it. WEll, anyways back from my tangent ... things were smoothe after that, we picked up the hubby's paycheck, I cashed it and went home. Oh and Bethany got picked up right after coming home to go on a girl's day with my cousin Andrea (her god-mother). I bet she is having so much fun.
