Not a recap today, but just a quick note to say that it's a pivotal episode. Peter Bergman does an excellent job of portraying Jack's devastation at Victor's reveal and set-up, as does Michelle Stafford today.
Nick and Sharon grow closer as do Jack and Phyllis, and Jill and Ji Min plan a get-away together to Korea.
Kay blows her lid at Jack when he tells her that he owns Jabot, but now would like to sell it back to her in order to rectify his mistake and move forward, make a name for himself away from his father's shadow. Really good scene!
The Newman jet crashes with Sharon and Nick aboard!
next:
Brad tells Victoria that she is his wife, and she is the one he chose to marry. Victoria counters that he loves HER (Sharon) more.
Michael tells Phyllis that the Newman jet went down.
Brad, in the NE offices with Niki and Victor, learns of the plane crash.
sounds really good, this plane crash must be what they did when they werent sure about Nick (what on earth is the actors name, its on my tongue) resigning with the show.
BTW, I am all for a Nick and Sharon reunion....but both of them need to do some groveling before that should happen.
And of course we all know I want Phyllis and Jack back together. Im so happy I am turing into a Jack fan again. I hated him for what he did with Johns will, and how he manipulated the Victor...but now I dont really like any of the Newmans save Victoria...Nick is alright sometimes but he gets annoying..
There's a spoiler that Nick survives the crash (although everybody thinks he's dead) but has amnesia. Betcha he doesn't remember anything about Phyllis, which of course makes for the perfect way for him and Sharon to reunite, ditto Jack and Phylis, who I really believe belong together, too.
Today's episode was one of the better ones, and Peter Bergman was wonderful. Watch for the scene when he barfs! I too am returning to Jack-love after the will debacle with Gloria. But I'm surprised at how much I'm hating Niki and her new hard as nails attitude with both her kids and her husband. I hope she's heading for a fall, but that pay-for site I used to have access to, and don't any more, said that by June Jack will have lost it ALL. I assume that means the election, Sharon and Jabot/NVP. That is if that scoop was accurate.
oh thank you, I dont know why Josh Morrow was sitting on my tongue. And I know he does survive cause he resigned. You wanna bet that Phyllis and Jack will get together thinking that their spouses are dead and by the time they get ready to get married in will walk Nick and Sharon.
and about Nikki, yeah...just goes back to what I was saying for not liking any of the Newmans. Except Victoria, and I didnt like her for the longest time. She just needs to kick botox to the curb...shes not pregnant anymore so there is no need to save the marriage
Well I went into the kitchen to make myself a tuna salad sandwich and there wasn't any bread, and it got me thinking about Gloria and her role in Jack's upcoming demise. If Gloria hadn't poisoned the cream, there couldn't ever have been a pending lawsuit that was settled by Kay promising that Jack could never have anything to do with Jabot ever again. And he wouldn't have had the Ji Min intrigue etc., and Victor wouldn't have been able to blackmail Jack into sellimg NVP. (Kind of funny today when the Newmans told Phyllis that she wasn't exactly credible since she's been charged with extortion, lol. And Niki's nose couldn't be stuck any higher than it was today - she really doesn't need to overplay the sanctimonious crap so much.)
Anyway, back when Jack had that fake will pushed through, cutting Gloria out, I felt sorry for her and thought Jack was the bad guy. Now that old Glo has set her sights on poor William (because he recently inherited a fortune), I'm reminded what a wretch she really is. And I don't think Jack was so wrong in getting her cut off the way that he did.
All that from the want of a tuna salad sandwich, lol! I'm going to make it anyway and send hub, who is working from home today, out for a loaf. The dogs are at the groomers and one of them pooped all over tha back seat of my car on the way there. Aw, the joys....
yeah, during the Gloria being kicked out of the house thing I felt bad for her. But I like Mikey and Kevin more and hate that she keeps dragging them down.
And I agree about the face cream, I hope they find out soon and poor William can find someone better. Though I do like Jill with Ji Min she was cute with Will too
That's the nice thing about this soap - they seldom gross me out with couplngs, unlike that damn ABC soap I used to watch. I could go for either Will or Ji Min for Jill, but I like her with Ji Min now, so we'll see if that pans out.
Ol' Botox could fall down a manhole one day and I wouldn't mind, but I kind of enjoy making fun of him and that frozen face. He and Nicole Kidman should get together, lol.
