More grief and tears over Nick, coast guards arrive at the Newman rranch, report that there's no evidence of survivors. Phyllis gets a call from Victor and she wants to go with him to the crash site, tells Noah his mom is with Jack as her photo shoot was cancelled. Daniel arrives, cheers up Noah. The kid hasn't been told of his dad's "death" yet.
Jack wants to go with Sharon to tell Noah he's lost his father. Loving hugs, Sharon in tears. This is a very weepy day!
Kay arrives at the ranch, hears Sharon is okay, but Nicholas? David's there too with his press release for Victor to vet and approve. Brad's all solicitous to Victoria who is trying to keep herself together, refuses sedatives or a rest.
Jack and Sharon arrive at Phyllis's place to break the news to Noah who has been outside catching fireflies with Daniel. (Is it just me, or is the child playing Noah a bit annoying?)
Whoa, Niki looks pretty rough today - no makeup, messy hair. Kay comforts her.
Sharon and Jack bring Noah home. She knows from Cassie's death that she has to be honest with him up front, agonises over what this news will do to him. Lots of hand wringing.
More grief over Nick with Michael, Phyllis, Lily and Daniel. Lily holds Summer, notes that she has her dad's eyes. Michael says, see, Nick is with us.
Sharon breaks the news to Noah. I left the room for a sec, came back and he was in his mom's arms. Jack's there, too. (Not much action today, so far, just lots of tears.) Noah's angry, feels guilty because he had wished something would happen to stop all the changes in his life. Sharon and Jack, blah blah.....
Phyllis sends Daniel and Lily home. Michael's still there after settling Summer. Phyllis tries to send him home too, but Michael insists upon staying.
YEAH!! Victoria angrily dismisses Brad, orders him to go home, she wants to be alone. She's at the ranch with Niki, Kay et al. Ol' Botox barely reacts.
meanwhile, back at the Newman ranch, Niki wants Kay and David to leave. Niki assures Kay she won't take a drink, they hug, then both leave.
Daniel and Lily arrive home, declare their love for each other, but Lily says she hates what he did. He can't keep doing this, all these secrets, and how can she believe him now when he said he'd stop the porn stuff before.
Nice scene with Michael and Phyllis as he tucks her in to the sofa bed in the living room. She can't sleep in the bed upstairs without Nick. She remembers the flight to New Mexico and how Nick laughed at her fear of the turbulence.
Kay stops by Sharon's to check up on her. Jack asks her to stay to finish their discussion about Jabot. Please, let him sell her Jabot for Sharon and Noah's sake. They just can't take another scandal now. Kay agrees, hands him a cheque for 1/5 of what Jabot is worth, and that is her one and only offer. Jack accepts. She won't reveal Jack's ownership, and all the world will think Ji Min was the owner. Good scene!!!

Yeah, lol. Sharon's with Jack at her house, and Brad just finished trying to convince Victoria that he loves HER, so the timing isn't quite right, lol.
I wonder how long Nick is going to be missing. Have you read anything about that, Shelly?
Daniel pampers Lily with slippers and sweet talk, and they make up with a kiss. But Lily remembers reading Daniel's reply to her Strangers in the Night email and pulls away, saying she can't do this.
OMG! SHelly - guess who just showed up at Sharon's door!! None other than Brad! jack's suspicious of the visit and shoos him off, saying he'll take care of both Noah and Sharon.
Victoria goes over to JT's for her sweater, lol. She stops him from trying to offer his condolences, asks for a really stiff drink. He says she drinks, he gets her keys, and she hands them over.
Michael and Phyllis can't fall asleep. Mike's all scrunched up on a chair across from Phyllis. She's a mess wondering what Nick was thinking when the plane went down - her and Summer or Sharon and Noah. Sobs, agony, not fair, not fair.
Victor's at his office, grieving. Niki at home, same thing, as Victor calls her to report he was at the crash site and Nick is gone. David turns back up at the ranch, Niki breaks down completely over her son's certain death. Victor in tears. Sad stuff if you don't know that Nick's actually alive. Sometimes I wish I was spoiler free, lol.

Brad asks Victoria if she's sleeping with JT. She rolls her eyes, tosses him a disgusted look.
Bardwell tells Gloria he hasn't seen much of her lately. Is she avoiding him? She looks smugly pleased with herself.
oh...was I mistaken. Do I see a Mikey and Phyllis union. Yucky, i dont want that. And good call on the Brad thing huh. Though I guess in his defense he only went over there after Victoria through him out, hes still a dirtbag.

No Mikey and Phyllis union that I can see. They're friends, always have been except for waaaay back during the Daniel custody thing, and I don't remember for sure whether they slept together then either. I wasn't watching with any regularity back then. But during today's show, there was not even a whiff of a hint that they would become romantic at all. And if they did, it would bug the heck out of me too. It would be too OLTL-like, and you know what I think of that damn show these days, lol.
It's a good scene with the two of them trying to get some sleep. The other good one was Katherine and Jack and the Jabot deal. I think you could safely FF through most of the sobbing and hand wringing without missing anything of note. And anything with Noah in it is a waste of time IMO. I suppose the kid's in there as a way to contrast Jack and Brad, so it's effective to some degree. But I don't like the child's acting - too golly-shucks for my tastes. Even Ron Howard as his cutest Opie didn't come across as gooney as this boy. (Good thing we're such a little community, because I'd never want to hurt the kid's feelings, but what are the chances anyone from Y&R finding this board?)
Oh, I forgot - Brad turning up at Sharon's door and Jack giving him this look that said a thousand things and then some - good one! But then, I love Jack, lol.
yeah, the only time I liked Noah was when Abby was on...and that was just cause she was so darn cute.
and good about Phyllis and Mikey. I like that we have one relationship/friendship where thats all it is. Though I am SO happy to see them friends again after the whole Sheila mess.
and I love Jackie too.....I love that he hates Brad...and I love that he has made me root for him again...
though I saw the scene last week where Victor first found out, and he really is a powerful man...like you said if we really thought Nick was dead it would be sad
