New reaction to OLTL

I went to see my little mom this afternoon around 2. She was sitting there all dressed up in a pink outfit watching OLTL. She started watching it a little with me a couple of months ago from her hospital TV and wanted to share the hour with me, and she's trying to get into it. It was so sweet of her to have had it tuned in, as she was expecting me. But I asked her to turn it off. I couldn't even sit through 5 minutes of it. It made my skin crawl. It's the same reaction I have when my husband turns on CNN and that Blitzer guy (or whatever his name is) is on. Or on Sunday mornings when he watches Meet the Press downstairs.

It surprised me that I had such a visceral reaction to a story I used to love. Anyway, just sharing.

maybe it will get better. I used to have the same reaction to AMC and now I find it rather entertaining

It's just too boring to watch right now, even when I'm really bored, I still can't tune in
