Okay, I am extremely bored and can no longer get myspace here at work....grr...so I am taking this topic from that new book that is out...
Give an example of something that happens only on soaps:
my first: if your whole family watches as your car goes off a cliff and explodes, yet you walk in to the family dinner a month later...your life is a soap opera
If you've found your parents weren't your biological parents but then you found your biological parents but only one of them was your actual parent, your life is a soap opera

sonny fits that description too....no one looks at him with disgust that he slept with Sam and Alexis....but Ric did it and everyone thinks its so horrible

And that horrible Bradley Carlson! Can you fill me on on which mother and daughter team....oh, I just remembered it was Liza and Marion Colby. AMC was such fun back then, lol.
