The Woman I'm Marrying On June 9th

Here's the ex slash current fiancee slash future wife. Yeah, I know crazy stuff but I'm happy about it and things are great. So we move June 2nd into 2 bedroom, which my daughter is extremely happy about, and then married the following Saturday.

Anyways here is the former and future Mrs. Eversoll

Pretty mundane wedding. Getting married at her church by her bishop (she's LDS and we'll not get into that right now). Small family gathering afterwards with friends over. Not taking any honeymoon or anything like that immediately but may down the road.

Are you having caterers bring in the nibbles for the after party or are you taking care of that yourselves? What's on the menu? At your place or elsewhere. (How come guys don't give up the juicy details without being prodded???)

Btw, one of my cousins converted to LDS after his wife left him with 3 kids under the age of 6, took off with some guy she'd met. My cousin was really overwhelmed with what had happened, and the church basically saved him. They rang his doorbell one Saturday morning... . Anyway, when his mother died, my dad's sister, the service was at his church, and I was really impressed. I don't expect you to respond to this prattling, just sharing is all.

I'll give them credit. They do well on the service end (like help the needy, etc) and of course promoting family (of course it all ends up on the individual to make it happen).

What are you going to wear that day? Have you done the shopping yet?

Bran's probably gone into hiding because we're bombarding him with the usual girlie questitons. He shoulda known he'd get asked a million things he can't be bothered to answer.

Come on, Bran, indulge us!!! We're your cyber-buddies.

If you're going for tthe tuxedo, will you wear a straight tie or a bow? I love the new look with the regular silk solid colour tie. It could coordinate with the bride's dress and flowers.

Are you registered anywhere that's online?

This is the part where you ask her since I'm not really in charge of anything other then being there and arranging the housing. LOL.

Actually I was told not to get involved. I got involved in the last wedding and ummm.... yeah, let's just say it's better this way for all. LOL.

Whatever works best for ya, lol. No wonder you're so calm and about it. Usually weddings get people all anxious and crazy. I just lived through a good friend's son's and lemme say, it was a huge relief when it was all over. She was practically comatose for a week afterwards.

I had an outdoor wedding and it was perfect. It was at the local park, and we did pics at the lake. Lol the flowers that decorated the pavilion were from a family friend's funeral. His wife insisted

Best of luck on the upcoming day!

The last time I was married, we did it at the beach, on a set of rocks jetting out to the ocean. Behind us, across the water was Martha's Vineyard. My brother was our JP, he was issues a one day certificate from the governor, and it was just my ex, our kids, and my brother in attendance. We decided to keep it quiet, and just had the kids with us.

My parents were out of the country, and since we were both previously divorced, we decided to not make a big event out of it. It was a great place and way to get married. Did I mention that we wore jeans and nice shirts? I always swore that if I ever got married again I was doing it in jeans. For the next time, I'm thinking I'll keep the beach theme, just pick somewhere in the Carribean....

Hey, kiddo! Congratulations...!!!

I suggest that you move the ceremony up to June 4th, for good luck. That's my wedding anniversary date, and it seems to have worked out quite well. (It also belonged to my parents, and, quite romantically, they eloped.)

I won't say how many years I've been married, but it's been plenty.

I just love a good wedding! CAN WE ALL COME???
