Just a quick drive by to let you know that ABC has just released a brand new audition script for the role of Tara. I will summarize for you below:
The scene opens in a court of law with Marty at her bail hearing. Tara begins when she asks the judge to please advise counsel to stick to the charges that her client is facing. The judge nods and reminds Assistant DA Griffin to stick to the facts. Griffin says "Your honor, this defendant has accused her husband of coercing her into marriage. If freed, it is far fetched to believe that Dr. Saybrooke would exact revenge in the same manner she did the deceased victim". Tara speaks up and offers that Dr. Saybrooke is a well respected member of the community with no prior record. ADA Griffin shoots back "and so was Spencer Truman".
Tara goes on to argue that this case is based on a shaky unsubstantiated confession whereupon Griffin reminds the court that Marty allowed an innocent man to languish in prison for a crime he never committed.
Tara says that her client is from Llanview and raising a son here so she is not a flight risk. ADA Griffin reminds the court that Marty's son Cole is also a material witness in another pending case as well as the one at hand. The scene ends with the ADA stating that if Marty is released on bail, it increases the risk that both she and her son would leave town.
