Yes, Happy Fireworks...I didnt mean to start another thread. I think it was like midnite when I found those pics and wanted to share...Ugh...
Anyways, anyone have any big plans for the day. They are predicting thunderstorms for us so I dont know how things will turn out. We just got back from a parade through Groton, CT that lasted almost 2 hours long. They said it was a 5 mile hike for participants. It was cool, I will post picks as soon as I get them off my camera.
They aren't actually doing fireworks on the Sub base until Saturday, so I guess its okay that there are no fireworks.
WE have rain here, we've had it for a few weeks now.
I'm being very festive today. I made a red white and blue trifle, which is made with cool whip, vanilla pudding, strawberries, blueberries and angel food cake. YUM.
luckily the rain came last night and we had a good day, some clouds, we went to the in-laws and swam and ate, I'm glad to be home. Watching kids by a pool can be stressful
We had a good little cook out until we got rained out. One of the ladies at church made a strawberry pie that was OH so good. And I brought these little fruit kabobs that were yummy too. It was a good day but here it is not even 8 and we are stuck inside. Stinks...But oh well
