THIS WEEK ON ALL MY CHILDREN... JR's jealousy flares when he sees Amanda consoling Jonathan. Ryan begs Derek to put out an Amber Alert for Spike. Greenlee drags herself from inside the wrecked car to Spike who has been thrown from the car. Aidan manges to trace the call Greenlee made to Ryan. Adam rescues a high Ava who has taken a dive at the boathouse. Ryan looks on helplessly as the paramedics tend to his unconscious baby boy. Aidan reveals that Greenlee's car was found heading away from town shattering Jack's belief that his daughter wasn't planning to flee with Spike. Krystal covers her concern for Adam with anger. A tortured Greenlee avoids incriminating herself in front of Derek. Jack stops Erica's verbal attack on Greenlee. Ryan warns Greenlee to stay away from his family.
A DIFFICULT ENTRANCE Kendall fears the worst as Joe and his staff tries to stop her premature labor. Joe is encouraged by the fact that Kendall's water hasn't broken. The doctors manage to get Kendall's contractions under control and reveal to the Slater's that they're having a baby boy. Ryan lets Zach know that Greenlee is missing...with Spike. Zach can't keep the truth from Kendall, who goes into labor upon learning that her son is missing. The already dire situation becomes critical when Kendall's water breaks. Kendall learns that her baby will die if he's not delivered as soon as possible. The doctors inform Zach of the challenges the baby will face once he's delivered. A stunned Kendall sees Spike being rushed into the hospital on a gurney as she's being rushed into the delivery room. Kendall gives birth to a very fragile baby boy who is being kept alive by machines. Zach wills his tiny son to be strong and survive, and later loses his temper when Erica asks the chaplain to christen his and Kendall's son right away in case the worst should happen. A distraught Kendall needs to be sedated for her own good. Zach tries to stay positive for Kendall's sake but is inwardly consumed with fear for their son. Erica acknowledges that she was wrong for trying to keep Kendall from marrying Zach. Later, Kendall and Zach come face to face with Greenlee - in Spike's hospital room.
D2D PreVUE's for the week of July 30 Monday: Zach sits vigil as his son fights for his life. Tuesday: Zach and Kendall make it past one hurdle. Wednesday: Kendall, Zach and Ryan get the news theyve been praying for.

My one comment here is this: Do all of Kendall's kids have to be born under crazy ass circumstances where they're going to die if they aren't delivered soon?

well Erica has one kid that she forgot she gave birth to and another that she had terminated. SO I guess dramatic entrances are a Kane family tradition. Look at Miranda, she was born in a cabin
