Yeah but why?? I guess they can't think of anything else for her. I guess its supposed to be novel that she has this "good girl's" heart in her chest but she's supposed to be the exact opposite? I hate to tell G.H. but the novelty of that wore off a long time ago!
well and her mother abandoned her. That actually happens in real life where a child rebels because their mother isnt there to guide them. Sure Georgie turned out alright but sometimes its like that.
Maxie doesn't hold my interest in any manner at all. She's too bitchy, too self-centered and frankly a waste of screen time. That said, it's a shame the character blows because Storms is great.

I have to agree with you Bran. The only thing I like about Maxie is looking at her but yeah it is a shame because like you said I think Storms is great.
It's a trend in soaps. There's always going to be a character that could be way better but isn't due to a number of factors: lack of time for the character, lack of writer interest, etc. and there is always going to be an actor/actress that is way better then the character they are given i.e. Paul Statterfield as Spencer Truman. It happens. And she's a young character so ultimately they always get kind of the "what can we generically give her to keep people interested because we don't want to lose the character or actress".
It's the same thing for me writing my fictional wrestling organization. I have guys that I could use more, develop more but a lot of time they get some basic storylines as I have all the other guys to develop from the top tier down. It's the just the way things go.

whats a shame is that they wrote the same way with Robyn Richards. Who I loved as Maxie. But with her towards the end they quit writing for her at all. But she was still kind of sleazy. And getting drugs for Lucky wasnt the first time that she messed around with them.
I think the character has a lot of potential. I wish that they had delved more into the chemistry between Maxie and Zander. They were kind of cute
