Well here we are once again, at the middle of the work week mark. I'm just about to hop into the shower. Today should be another insane day in the office. I am carpooling in with my co-worker who lives in western Massachusetts, who comes into the office one day a week. We meet 40 miles from the office, and have a good gossip session for the commute. She has really become a good friend, in addition to a great co-worker.
The weather man has forecasted a few days of humidity and high temperatures, so the whole being in the climate controled office does not sound all that bad.
Hey miss sophia and every one else in here. I am arguing with the lady at work about counting calories. I am eating this bagel and an ice coffee from dunkin donuts. Now I know that it has a lot of calories but there really is a such thing as good calories. And this morning I drank the ice tea from Dunkin Donuts and holy crap was it strong. So at this point I need the bagel so I dont get sick. Anyways, it bothers me when people all try to tell you what to do.
Oh, and I have happy news. My little Jolene (Im trying to not call her Jojo because we already have a Jojo here) went potty on the toilet three times this morning and twice last night. YAH!!!!!
Yeah for potty training!!!! It's no picnic waiting for the little ones to make the big decision to get out of the diapers, but when they do, it's time to celebrate. Congrats, Shelly and Jolene!
My day? I haven't finished my coffee yet, so I haven't gotten that far. I slept in for a change. Must have needed it.
If you're trying to lose weight you have to substitute the lower calorie items with the higher calorie items and once you make that a habit, it's easy to lose the weight. It always worked well for me if I wrote down what I ate throughout the day. But obviously I haven't done that in ages. And I'd really like to drop 5 pounds (baby steps) so I've been walking around the block a couple of times a day. (we have a large block) I learned alot on weight watchers, I just have to do it. Portion sizes were important too.
I woke up late today, my legs hurt too much to sleep last night. It felt like that RLS. I finally took calcium and either that helped or I just finally drifted off. I also got up to pee about 20 times which is crazy because I don't remember drinking anything. So my day is off to a weird start. I like to get up before the kids, ya know. Have that hour to myself.
I should go to the library. Did I tell you I bought my son a great software game for 1st grade and he lost one of the three disks already! it's a great product, Reader Rabbit, but I can't find the math CD anywhere, I'm hoping the library still rents those out.
So I'm gonna jump in the shower and straighten up and try for the library!
