Wow! Good epi today. The new Colleen is here - cute kid, but I noticed a little awkwardness in her make-out scene with Adrian. Hope they sort that out.
Anyway, a Treasury Dept. guy shows up and in the middle of grilling Kevin, Daniel and Cane who continue to stonewall the guy, Neil bursts in and the whole story comes out - the money, Plum's death, Amber's con game, all of it. And Neil calls the cops.
For comic relief, Gloria is planning a huge gala in honour of William, plans to rent out the entire GCAC and hire Paul McArtney to sing. Phyllis has a mini melt-down over dinner with the Baldwins when Michael yells at her for letting Nick off the hook re her trial. Lauren helps her regain her composure and Mike apologises. Mike gets a call from frantic Kevin and leaves the ladies. In a touch of somewhat heavy-handed irony, the three ladies toast their wonderful sons.
Michael arrives at Kevin's has a FIT when he learns of the kidnapping, the money, Plum's body. CLB's so good!! He advises the boys (K&D) to follow his lead because Maggie is there now. Under the circumstances, he'll allow Maggie to question the guys, since a young woman's life may be in danger.
Neil blabs to Colleen and Lily in front of Adrian about the Treasury agent, and Adrian catches Colleen calling Kevin, gives her hell for involving herself in that dangerous crap.
Lily tells her dad that she was too young to get married and she made a horrible, horrible mistake marrying Daniel.
Amber is screaming and pounding on a locked door, "help me, help me, please".
Next:
Brad to Phyllis and Nick, "Phyllis is responsible for everything that goes down".
Devon tells Daniel that now finally his sister will dump him.
Neil asked Carson why he was keeping a file on his son-in-law and Carson said he didn't have to answer to HIM. Neil lunges forward to attack Carson, Paul stops him just in time.
Side note - Michael lied to Lauren several times in this episode, all to cover for Kevin. He didn't tell her anything about the real reason he was leaving their dinner, nor why he wouldn't be home until much later. I wish they didn't write Michael lying so easily to his wife. I'm afraid it might be the basis for those two to break up down the line.
I really hope that they dont break up Mikey and Lauren. I love them..Thanks for the day ahead Kae, sadly I dont think that I will be able to watch much this week.
