We were up with the birds this morning to drive across town in the van so that Tony could pick up a glider chair his wife had bought from Craig's List. There's even traffic first thing Saturday morning. What a pain. Then the coffee maker here conked.
Ted's glued to the Tour de France until 11:30 and then we're off to the Farmers' Market for fruit and veg, the butcher shop, and a quick stop at a big grocery store. Then it's to Pet Value for doggie food and a flower shop to replace dead geraniums on the back porch. Oh, and then to Canadian Tire for a new coffee maker. (That's a huge chain here - sells all sorts of things.)
It is so hot and muggy today. We were supposed to get rain all day yesterday, never came.
I just returned from getting a facial. I am totally addicted! I have absolutely zero motivation, and I believe that the couch is calling me for a nice decadent nap. It was a crazy week at work, so I really need some serious down time. I actually slept in until 7:30, which is really unusual for me, because my body is so used to getting up at 4 am, that I can't usually sleep past 5 am.
I need to go food shopping later on today, or at some point this weekend. I is seriously humid here, with temperatures in the 80's. We just had a series of thunderstorms come through, so that is a nice excuse to not accomplish anything outdoors. The lawn mowing is on tomorrow's agenda.
I hope that everyone has a nice calm relaxing weekend!
Kae, you have a busy day like me! I'm just going to be at the house, but I'll be balls to the wall cleaning out my room. I tackled Jackson's the other night, and it looks so weird in there!
It's Humid here too, just awful, I got my bday gift today. An mp3 player, and I love it already. So many songs I like, by lifehouse and nickelback and the calling, can't wait to get them all uploaded.
Tina, when's your bd? I know you're a Leo, but what's the date? We need a party around here!!!
We're back from running around. I went to a huge flower sale - got all kinds of stuff for the garden, but this time I'm keeping it in pots or on the patio. No more Chloe-trampled perenniels, that's for sure! Then we dropped in at my parents' for a quick cup of tea, had a good cry on the way home. This is so hard.
I posted 4 new pictures of Nick in Ko Chang in my photobucket. You can see them in the Bangkok thread link. In one of them he has a huge snake around his neck. Ack.
Hey, Jojo, please let us know when you make the big move, okay? It's coming up fast!
I think Shelly spent the night somewhere in western Mass, right?
