The ruination of Todd is complete for me. It started while he was helplessly tied to Margaret's cabin cot, then bumped up a few notches as he sobbed and blubbered over his dead son, mooned over Evangeline, and now squawking like a petulant brat from his hospital bed.

I appreciate that he has fans out there, but I'm not one of them. I don't know if it's the writing or the actor, but his scenes are going to be ff material. I didn't miss him while he was gone, either, kris.

He does not do anything for me in this phase, either. The character is definitely not being written as the sly bad boy that we all came to know and love back in the days.

I am going to chalk this up as bad writing and total character ruination.

On another note *ducking* I don't like Star, and I find her painful to watch. The whole Cole storyline is beyond bad for me, and I will not even bother to go into how bad I thought the whole musical thing was.

I could not tell you the last time that I watched an entire episode of OLTL. These day's I will catch a few scenes and turn to a different channel, or grab a book.

I don't mind Starr, but that kid boyfriend of hers gives me the heaves. I like her better when she's interacting with Dorian or Viki, though.

Tess, I haven't watched a full episode in ages either, except for Friday, I think, and I watched it live. Big mistake, lol.

Thank goodness for Y&R. It's my only real soap fix these days.

last time i bothered to check dena's name was still listed as head writer. i think i read somewhere that we won't be seeing ron at the helm until september.......and even then it will take time for us to see much of a difference.

for a brief period we saw a somewhat softer & more mature todd & i liked that. now he has totally reverted to being a total ass. i'm hoping ron gives him some kind of SL that will actually lead to some character progression. from what i'm hearing it won't be the custody SL tho.

i like starr & cole tho i know many don't. i think they are sweet together.

I can't believe how far I've come on this issue. Todd Manning was OLTL to me. And now I can't stand the site of him for all of the reasons you listed.

I do have to say that I still have hope for Starr. Her issues can be chalked up to puberty.
