Does anyone else think that OLTL needs to get some fresh females into the mix with strong character backbone? We have a lot of ladies running around but a lot of them have come across so wimpy the past while it's made me rather sad.
Jessica/Tess is now whiny baby, oh I'm gonna die princess.
Marty is a walking joke for someone with no self-respect or backbone.
Dorian and Viki continue to fight like two girls in high school.
Talia, the tough lady cop, kept getting knocked out and made to look silly.
Layla doesn't do much, Adrianna whines more then I can stand and Evangeline sits in a coma.
Lindsay hasn't schemed in awhile and it seems that crown has gone to Natalie who seems to be the new strong will woman on the show after being John's doormat for crap (whether he did it or she put herself there).
Haven't seen or heard enough about Sara, Nora isn't around enough and Blair is still flat out bitchy.
You know, if you let all the gals from this show fight it out wrestling style, I'd bet on Starr and Langston to be in the last four standing along with Blair and Natalie. And that my friends, is a sad statement about the rest of the women on this show.

I hate that the Buchanan women have become so weak. And while I enjoy the bickering with Dorian and Viki I do wish it was a little more mature. Langston and crew arent as annoying as them and they are in HS
I would not say fresh females Bran, we love Nora and Viki despite the horrible writing. The writers needs to know that we want to see the woman be their strongest selves. At one time they all were.
I've never mentioned this before, but I have never liked Nora, even when she was in her own story and was a force to be reckoned with. I was always rooting for her to get shot down by Lindsay for a change. But hey, she was pretty good in court today. Just too bad she's so chummy with Marty the pain in the butt that she is.
I don't think we need new women but better writing for the ones already around. RC seems to have a better grip on who these characters are, hopefully he'll give their personalities back to them and forget about those irritating plot points DH was so fond of.
Maybe the directions have been to capture the younger viewers, hence the childish banter we've seen.
for a brief period ~~~ i believe it was under malone's pen ~~~ vicki & dorian started to develop a more mature relationship. i much prefer we get some of that back as opposed to this HS type crap.
i don't think jessica was whiny. she had a life threatening illness to cope with.
blair is just a bitch & a total whore ~~~ a term i don't like to use about other women, not even fictional ones. however that's always been blair's MO no matter who the HW was.
i hate what higley has done to natalie.
most of what's wrong w/the female characters can be laid at higley's feet. she clearly doesn't like women. i'm waiting to see what changes ron c. makes. hopefully he will strengthen the women.
i know this is considered heresy but i prefer bo w/lindsey over nora.
