If history continues to repeat itself, General Hospital's Jax and Carly have a marriage that's all but doomed. When she finally catches up with her globe-trotting hubby and finds out how far he went with the beautiful but deadly Irina, will she kick him to the curb? If so, which lucky guy waiting in the wings will "console" her-Sonny, Jerry, or Jason?
Sonner or later, Carly will find out that Irina forced Jax to have sex by threatening to kill her and her sons. That word "forced" has created quite a stir among fans concered that that adds up to rape...and don't expect Carly to take the matter lightly. "Irina is not going to get off scot-free," says Laura Wright(Carly). "I think that Jax was smart as hell. I don't blame him for what he did. He knew exactly what he needed to do to get out of the situation. I would have done the same thing to stay alive."
But it becomes an entirely different story when she gets him safe and sound back in town. "I make him get checked for venereal disease," Wright reveals, speaking in character.
But will this be the straw that broke the camel's back? After all, if Jax hadn't once again put Jerry higher than Carly on his list of priorities, he wouldn't have ended up in this Irina mess. Will this latest escapade be what pushes her over the edge...and back into Sonny's arms? "I love Sonny and I love Jason," says Wright. "I need them. But I'm in love with and married to Jax. She needs them all in her life."
Still, there's one man that Wright confesses that Carly could never live without-and it's not Jax or Sonny! "I think her biggest dream and desire in the world would be that her and Jason could ride off into the sunset," Wright admits. "But that's absolutely impossible."

SID "Together at Last"
The end of a marriage could bring two GH lovers closer than ever this week. jason and Liz contemplate the possiblity of finally being together but with Sam continuing to pull the strings - especially those attached to Lucky - there's not pedicting what will happen next!
SAM TOYS WITH LUCKY Jasons trial heats up as ric once again puts sam on the stand in the hope that the scorned woman will unleash her fury in the form of damaging testimony against her ex. Instead much to ric's frustration, sam actually takes the high road and avoids saying anything that would incriminate Jason!! It becomes a battle of the leagal eagles when Diane and Ric spend the rest of the day grilling one witness after another before delivering their closing statements and sending the jury off to deliberate. For her part,Sam uses this break in the action to explain why she opted not to imcriminate Jason, "No matter how much she's hurting and who screwed her over, the last thing she's going to do is get on the stand and rat Jason out." explains sam's portrayer, Kelly Monaco.
After scoring a few points with Lucky, Sam confides to Maxie that while she's got her mind set on seducing elizabeths husband, there's a part of her that can't help wanting to make things right with jason.
THE VERDICT IS...
It's a tense moment when the jury finally returns, but in the end, it's good news for jason. As sam watches, her former lover celebrates having been found not guilty by sweeping Liz into a hug. "She's disgusted, admits monaco,"thats when she pulls Liz aside and says,"you know what? this isnt over." it could have been over, but Liz keeps rubbing it in sams face! Not about to let jason off the hook, sam swings by the ph to let him know she plans on bedding lucky and that as an added bonus, she might let slip the truth about jake."Im surpired and appalled,"says jason of this revelation.

The men in liz's life nearly come to blows when lucky confronts his rival and acuses him of having an ongoing affair w/ his wife. Although jason denies such an involvement, he later admits to spinelli that if thingy Flytrap's (huh?) marrage failed and she was wanted to move in with him, he'd be willing to give their relationhsip a shot (WTF). "if lucky and Liz separated for some reason. I don't think it would be out of the blue for her and jason to try and work it out,"speculates burton. Meanwhile accross town, Liz has a very similar conversation with emily. Are jason and thingy Flytrap finally about to get their shot at happily ever after?

The undeniable facts about jason's lifestyle are driven home for Liz when she and her sons have a nasty confrontation with two goons hoping to use her as leverage against sonny's pal. in a case of fortunate timing, sam saves the day....only to later pay off the guys for the obviously staged attack!! next thing you know, Jason is agreeing that it's in everyones best interests that they walk away from Liz and Jake forever due to the dangerous nature of his life."
Liz calls sonny and asks that he take care of jason for her. But the response she gets probably isnt the one she anticipated: sonny rips into her for having mistreated his best friend! appropropriately enough,the mobster suggests Liz stick to her guns and stay away form jason from now on.

SOD Late Breaking News GH'S Jason The Verdict Is IN... Epiphany sees that Liz can't concentrate so she tells Liz to go to the court to hear the verdict read Liz/Sam have it out. Jason is found not guilty. "She has an overwhelming rush of relief and the minute she sees him, she flies into his arms," continues Herbst. "Jason and Elizabeth have this wonderful moment of just holding each other but they realize the camaras are rolling, the flashes are going and there's am burning a whole in both their heads." Lucky sees this footage while out at dinner with Nem. Lucky blows up and confronts Jason warning him to stay away from Liz.He has a talk with Spin about if he should reconsider being in Jake's paternity. "There's an obvious connection between him and Liz....Heck he married 2 women for no reason. Why not marry one for the right reason? That's what I say."
