can't remember what source they sited but SOC is reporting that there will be no miracles for spike. he will be permanent deaf. the writers want to use the opportunity to educate the public on living deaf & giving deaf actors opportunity to work.

me....i think this is fantastic. it will be wonderful to see a fully integrated character who is deaf.

I like the idea too. If they hire good consultants and don't try winging this story, it could be really wonderful.

i'm sorry, but is IS greenlee's fault that spike is deaf. maybe if she'd stay away from them & accept responsibility for what she did.......

I agree that it is Greenlees fault...oh and Ryans too since he kept insisting on letting her back in their lives, after she tried suing for custody
