I don't know.... I mean police dogs are often thought of as members of the force so I can see where they went with this. But bottom line, the comments there are just the comments of people who are clearly uneducated.

OMG..... What a complete waste. I will not even go into what I think of the officer responsible for the death. Some people should not be allowed to be around animals, no matter what they do for a living.

yeah, I am still a little irritated by it. What irritates me more is that the cop wasnt out right fired, he should have been charged with a crime. Most places in the summer are too hot for anything in the car, but Phoenix...in the middle of Summer this guy should have known better, there is no excuse for it.
