Opens with Phyllis, Nick, Daniel and Noah being sullen and uncooperative as Nick prepares the farewell barbecue dinner. Jack kisses Sharon goodbye as she wishes him well saying goodbye to Phyllis.
Daniel calls Amber - what's she up to, he doesn't want to go home. They agree to meet at CL.
Victor visits Nick and Phyllis with the news that Starfire is going to have a colt. Noah again - argh, that kid!
Kay is snarky to Jill, warns her that if she forgives Ji Min he'll revert to his old behaviour. Jill counters with her news that Ji Min has agreed to go public with the Jabot secret.
More Kay and Jill disagreeing about Ji Min. He appears, tells the ladies that he's all set to make a clean breast of things.
Victor brings Phyllis some books to read while she'a "away", hugs her farewell, take good care of herself. Nick appreciates the gesture, thanks his father. Victor is appropriately solemn, kind.
Then Daniel and Amber, swing back to Nick and Phyllis cuddling on the sofa. Knock on the door - Jack. Phyllis hugs him and he almost has tears in his eyes. Nick looks on obviously bugged by their closeness.
Jack and Nick discuss Phyllis' appeal process, how the Newman name could help her in prison and that Jack has been in touch with the warden. Jack says he's going to miss her, Noah's back from the stable, wants to go home with Jack. Damn little brat.
Sharon runs into Daniel at CL - he thanks her for her comments in favour of his mother, she offers to help him any way she can, hugs.
Ji Min and Jill - not much.
Kay visits Victor at BE to tell him Ji Min plans to go public, points out how Clear Spring investors will be hurt. Victor just hmmmm's.
Phyllis apologises to Noah for letting him down. He begins to leave with Jack then spins around and hugs her.
(Anyone else getting tired of all the Phyllis lately? I like her, but enough already.)
Heather turns up at CL, asks Amber if she's thought about the deal she offered. Nope. Heather gets snarky when Daniel gives her attitude about what she did to his mother.
More Phyllis giving Nick instructions about the house and what I guess is an effort to make them look closer than ever.
Jack fills in Sharon on what happened with Noah at Nick's place. Sharon's angry with Phyllis for putting her son through all this. Victor calls Jack who asks him if the sky's falling, lol. Victor replies that it depends on where you're standing. Funny.
And MORE Nick and Phyllis. Talk about the long goodbye! (This soap doesn't often bug me, but it is today. Is it just me?)
Sharon finds Fisher (Noah's dog) stuck inside a closet in the Abbott house. (More Noah acting out, I assume.)
Amber tells Daniel about her suspicions of Ji Min and the buried money.
Kay calls Jill to try to discourage her from the J Min thing - no luck. Ji Min says he feels like he's about to jump off a cliff.
Jack goes to see Victor, says he's not worried about the Ji Min business. Victor's surprised that Jack's not concerned that it may cost him his seat on the senate.
Sharon asks why Noah locked his puppy in the closet - because he was bad and he put him in jail. Okaaaay. Yap about how it's okay to cry. Then back to Phyllis and Nick as she adds to her diary on Summer. Nick promises to keep it up for her.
Daniel and Amber try to track down the serial number on the $100 bill Amber got from Ji Min the other day - they got a match, no, maybe not.
Jack calls on Jill and Ji Min, tries to discourage this disclosure. Ji Min says everybody loves a reformed sinner. Jack warns Ji Min not to take him on. Ji Min says he doesn't respond well to threats, that Jack has more to lose than he does.
hmm, good spoiler Kae...and yes I am a wee tired of Phyllis too. Though I am also tired of Sharon..Maybe with Phyllis in jail we wont see much of MS for awhile.
BTW, does Heather know yet that Paul is her dear old dad?
