It annoys me that after everything this girl has done she is given work again, to be allowed to "open" the VMA show. Unreal! Set an example to young girls and NOT hire her until she gets her act together.
The bottom line is people want to see Britney either succeed or fail and that's going to bring ratings which brings advertisers which brings the $$$$. That's all it is.

I don't think they much care who they hire as long as they get the viewers, but I agree that she's a mess. It'll prove interesting to see how well she does. My guess? She'll bomb.
Paris Hilton polluted my town yesterday with her arrival here, and fortunately, she isn't much sought after up here as most people consider her to be a joke, a bad one, lol.
Not around much today as I just popped in home to let the doggies out for a little pee.
honestly I dont think that she has done any more then other young women or young men for that matter who have been given chance after chance. Britney Spears is just barely younger then me so maybe thats why I tend to hope for her more then others. She needs serious help and it doesnt seem that those close to her care enough to make sure she gets it. Forcing her into rehab obviously didnt work..as much as I hate Kevin Federline I think that if she did have her kids taken from her it may be a huge eye opener for her.
And speaking of Paris, she sure as hell didnt help Britney any...and she got mad when Britney said she couldnt hang out with her because of the negative image. Britney may be bad but at least she didnt drive drunk on many occasions.
So this is me putting my hope in her corner hoping that she can pull this off because if her appearance is a failure I really do think it could be life threatening for her and we may be looking at the next Anna Nicole Smith.
i saw clips of her on VMA this a.m. she looked drugged/drunk IMO.
doesn't matter who or how many encourage her to get help or how many high profile rehabs she, lindsey or anyone else goes to. won't work until these people, who have clearly lost their way, hit their personal bottom & start to work whichever program they think will lead them to a sober life.
none of them should be given work until their lives are under control b/c i truly believe that's the only thing that will take them to their knees......& it's not a religious reference.

Thats so sad that she bombed, but I guess the majority of America expected no less. Ive heard that her new song was horrible. And like I said before, as much as I hate Kevin I think that him taking her kids may be the only thing to get through to her
not in a million years did anyone ever expect federline to be a step up dad. he may be a no talent ass in all other avenues, but he's really earned some respect for this one.....and yes, loosing her kids just might be brittany's bottom.
