Just wanted to say hi and that I hope everyone has a lovely day today. I'm working hard, learning all the ins and outs of claims adjusting, and it's HARD. I feel so behind sometimes. But I'll get there. I love the office, and the people in it. It's a good environment to work in. Much better than my last one.
Things on the home front aren't so nice though. I feel like I've overstayed my welcome. There are times when my sister in law walks around like she hates having us here, and my brother was acting like a complete jackass yesterday. Yelling at me for not calling the apartment places to get on the lists and such. I feel so unwelcome, and I hate walking around the house sometimes. I cry myself to sleep and just hope that things get better. There are good times, but it's just the overall feeling.
Oh well. Other than that, we're doing well.
I must get to work! Which reminds me. When I go to Pheonix next week, I won't be here on the board for two weeks. I wasn't able to get a laptop (I just don't have the money myself, and dad refuses to give it to me), so I'll be isolated from everyone. It sucks.
Aww we will miss you while you are in Phoenix. Wish I was still there so we could hang out, that would be cool.
And I have faith you will find what you need in apartments soon, as soon as you get those steady paychecks it will be a lot easier. And adjusting to the claim adjusting job will come to you too...I will keep you in my prayers while you are gone that when you get back things get better.
Im not doing much, being a little disgruntled that the President is interupting Dr. Phil but oh well, what can I do. I am a little bit bored..
As for overstaying your welcome, would it help to have a talk with your brother and s-i-l about it? If you could set a deadline for moving out, it might make it easier for all of you.
We've had family stay with us for extended periods from time to time, and it can be hard, but we've found that if we know it's for a limited period, we enjoy the time much more. Everyone has their limit for hospitality.
Good luck with the work and finding your own place soon. I'll send you all the positive thought I can muster.
thats cool, tell her Happy Bday from us. Yeah 78...They did a cool little thing for her. I dont think there is a famous person that she hasnt interviewed. Dont think there is a celebrity that she hasnt made cry. Some of the clips they showed brought tears to my eyes. It was well done
I hope things get better jo! Hopefully you will unwind some in Phoneix, and I am sure your job will get easier with time, its great that you like the people in your office, that makes it so much easier!!!! I'll be thinking of you!
I will keep my fingers crossed on the apartment search. You'll be in your own home before you know it. Sometimes things get tough when everyone is constantly together, but I'm sure that it is just a phase, and that when you get back from Phoenix you will be working on getting everything together for your big move into your new home.
I am so glad that everything is going well with the job, I know how overwhelming it can be starting a new job and getting acclimated to the industry and the corporate culture. Heck I will be doing it myself next week!
Keep on smiling, and I am sending happy thoughts your way!

Anywho, hope everyone has an awesome day!
Try having a talk about things to see if there are issues that are bothering them and let them know you are doing your best! You SIL needs to take a chill pill, how would she like it if situations were reversed.
Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the nice words.
But having a talk with them won't work. They just brush it off and act like nothing is wrong, only to revert back to being buttheads later. I guess I'll just have to stick through it.
Sophia, Jackson is doing wonderful. He recently had to change to the "short bus" becuase he was having trouble onthe regular one, but he seems to be doing better. And he loves school and the boys and girls club.
