Good morning! How has everyone been enjoying the weekend?
Yesterday we had a little party for my parents' anniversary. About 24 relatives from one branch of the family came to my parents' home, and because it was such a gorgeous day, we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sun and warm breeze. Both mother and dad were completely exhausted by the end of the afternoon and went to bed before 8 without dinner. My husband and I weren't interested in dinner either, but by 2 a.m. I was up polishing off a tube of potato chips he had "hidden" in the freezer behind a big bag of peas. (Sorry, hun. Better luck next time with your secret stash of junk food.)
Mike took several pictures and if he ever gets around to sending them to me, I'll post a couple. There are a few of the little kids rolling down the hill in the back garden. I still haven't bought myself a new camera, but I have my eye on a Canon that will be going on sale in November.
I'm staying put today. What are you guys up to?
Moore, how was your trip last week? Did you have a great time?
We have stayed put for the most part today. Went to church this morning, came home and took a long nap. Nice and lazy day as far as I am concerned. Hubby is watching football but the Bears aren't playing here so I guess he is watching this game so he can keep an eye on the score for the Bears. Fun times. Tonight is finally a new season of DH. So I am happy about that.
Kae sounds like you had a fun day yesterday. Well aside from the no food part. And Tina if I had the money I would buy the new camera too. Alas I do not and I just got a new still digital for my birthday so I am happy with it.
My day's been pretty much like yours Shelly. Went to church, then Wal Mart for groceries and now we're at home chilling out. I downloaded some music for Bethany. Most of the music they use at her dance class is High School Musical, so I downloaded a bunch to last until we get her the CD for Christmas.
OH and I just got a great HP digital camera for Mother's Day. I love it because I can record video with it as well, and it turns out so nicely. In fact I like it better than the video camera I nearly bought. I can get a big 8 gb card and save tons of stuff on it.
