You guys I need to help my friend Dave (well family friend but you know the drift). Ok so my hubby's known him for years and at one time he was a total loser. You know, he had no job, no money, no home that kind of guy. Now on top of that he was a dead beat dad. These poor kids I do feel sorry for them, because the mom is as bad as it gets. Anyways, a few years ago his brother kinda intervened, and got him off of the drugs and all on the right track. He is now married, has a good job, a nice home, and all that stuff. Well, he's now realizing what a horrible home his kids are in and wants to get them out of it. This woman is certifiable. She posted this horrific and morbid account of her children dying in a bloody accident (in this morbid fiction the vehicle was slammed by two semis and everyone dies) including how her son died with his eyes open, and her daughter was gurgling blood. So anyways, he's terrified for the well being of his children. He has one major problem. She has full custody and because of his past mistakes she's got him bent over the fence. He is worried to contact DCFS because they won't do anything really, and then when she finds out that he is the person who called, she will revoke visitation. I guess he's only supposed to get supervised visitation. Anyways, she's posted this stuff on her myspace, set up a page for her 2 daughters on which they are dress like lil hookers if you ask me (her excuse is that it is pageant wear), she plays obvious favorites by putting a daughter by another man in tumbling but not his daughter, refuses to get a job, lives with her mom, has a bathroom as nasty as it can get, and the list goes on... oh and she has admitted to mental health issues. Anyone have any suggestions about how what may be done without her finding out he's behind it, because it's a very bad deal! Anyways pray for the situation please and if you have any ideas let meknow. Oh and I can post the message she wrote if you need to know how twisted this chick is. I wonder if this would be grounds enough for a concerned parent such as myself to contact the authorities.
I would suspect that if he has proof of what she has been up too and had the money to get a good lawyer he could probably still get custody. How old are the kids? At any rate, he should find a good lawyer and at least sit with him/her and see what they say. Sometimes the lawyer will flat out say yes or no you have a chance.

Yeah he really needs to save up the money for a lawyer, but unfortunately he puts every dime into his kids. Not only does he pay child support, he buys almost all of their clothes and if they want or need anything, he does it for them. They are 9 and 10 and sweet sweet kids. You know another odd thing... she has them thinking that restaurants like stead and shake are fancy fancy restaurants. Dave took the kids to Red Lobster and they didn't know what to think.
I really hope so. It would only make sense for him to become the custodial parent. Maybe we could get the judge from the Spears case lol. One would think that in a case like this, the children would be better off with the father. It's too bad that DCFS couldn't be called in to see the living conditions. I talked to Dave's wife today. They took the kids to the mall to get some clothes and shoes for school because all of the sales going on right now. Well, when they were in the middle of the store, their son yells out, "I'm to poor to shop here. My mom says that only rude rich people shop at the mall." He said some other stuff that was in a similar vane. She sure is a card.
Well, he has a job, and that's pretty easy to prove. The home is in his name, I'm sure he'd gladly do a drug test to prove that he's clean and sober. You know it really does show what an effect a good woman and God has on a man. She's made such a great difference in his life. He was actually a Wiccan/Pagan and after being with Ryan, he actually said that he might just believe in God. For anyone who knows him that's huge huge stuff lol.
Tell him to copy the My Space pages, as well as the pictures.
There is software you can buy that copies internet pages (like Google does with "cached" pages), but you can also save them yourself.
He should go to each My Space page, and do a control/save. When his designated file shows, "Save as Type", he should choose "Webpage complete".
Saving the url won't help him because she can go back and delete the posts if she figures out that he's using them as evidence. He could also highlight each entire page, but it could be argued that he manipulated/edited them himself. It would be far better if he could save the entire page as a complete image.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, he needs to get himself a lawyer who can advise him whether or not her misdeeds rise to the level of losing custody. Sometimes, it's just necessary to spend the money, and get the proper representation. Lawyers are there for a reason.
In the meantime, he needs to give his kids as much love and affection as humanly possible during his visits. He needs to reassure them that he's always there for them, no matter what.
