I don't get this ending at all. I'm lost I am not happy. Ok so was Robin having an out of body experience, dreaming, in a coma, or was that a twin, Brenda made to look like her, or what what the heck I just don't get it. I hate Patrick now I loved the show (awesome Sonny appearance) ... just I just grrrrrrrrr. I hate not knowing. So how are they going to wrap this up... someone tell me pleeeeaaaase!
like a lemming i watched every episode of the drek that was night shift. SLs were hideious....even allowing for it being a separate show nothing made sense.

Jessica, there have been speculation that there might be a season 2. If so that could be why it didnt conclude well. Most prime time dramas leave you hanging for season finales. And if not maybe things will get continued over to GH. Speculation has the Kelly and Lainey story carrying over. And Jolene's sister has been cast onto GH as well.
I know that Jolene's sister will be on GH, so that confuses me even more. These things must've happened... I think ... oh hell. We need a Raven for this show. I don't know why I've loved it as much as I have. I think it has most to do with Toussaint and Epiphone. I cringe every moment that I see Leyla and Patrick, but still enjoyed the Jason and Robin moments. I saw a connection that should really be explored on GH last night. I love Kimberly and Robin is one of my favorite characters. I was also happy to see Sonny make an appearance, but what the heck kinda crap was going on with the car pulling up. Is it just me or did it look like some was poor CGI and some was real stuff. Wait a sec ...w ait a sec ... maybe they did that on purpose. Maybe it was a dream or something like that and they made the car stuff look so unreal to kinda push that a long. I mean come on they could have made the car look so much better. I know that they have limited funds, but it would obviously be cheaper to film a car pulling up instead of put in CGI. It was just so weird there at the end.
I just finished it, and thought the shoot out was really good. Ive always been one of those people who likes the mob stuff on GH so this was awesome. Though I am curious as to why Jason didnt have his own gun, and i am glad that Dr. Julian didnt die, I love him.
As for the chemistry between Jason and Robin. I dont think they will ever go there again romantically but they have already done more on the friendship front on GH in recent weeks then they have in forever. I dont want Robin with Jason because I do root for her to get back with Patrick after he gets his head on straight.
Im thinking that the Robin look alike is in deed the Barrett character. Which would explain why there hasnt been very much casting calls for the character since its just Kimberly in the same role. But oh my I hope that they do a second season. I want to see what happens.
I love the show, for reasons unknown. I will never understand why people continue to watch a show they dont like. People on SOC complain about it all the time
So yep, no dream, this was all a double situation. Friday's GH proved that. But I HATE that they didn't give any back story to these Night Shift stories since not everyone that watched GH also watched Night Shift. Proof Frons is a frickin' idiot.

I get this funny feeling that Guza didn't give a crap how it ended so long as it ended. 1 show is hard enough without adding another one on top of it. Besides, Night Shift seemed more like Guza supervised and others wrote it. It didn't have the same tone as GH.

well Guza did an excellent job on the shoot out. The man cant write a soap for nothing, but when it comes to shoot outs and all things mob boy is he good.
That was the best part of the show.
