I was reading on the SOC board a bit last week and saw something about "Zach not having Myrtle" to confide in any more. I posted something in a separate/new thread (so as not to break their strict rules) asking what happened to Myrtle. Naturally, the mods deleted it before I could get any response. Have no idea what I did wrong but I totally give up on SOC. Anyone over here have any idea what that comment might have been about? Is Myrtle gone?

Actually nothing as far as I can tell other than Eileen Hurley (I think that's the actress' name) is 86 years old and has difficulty getting around any more. She has to be helped from place to place, and I guess she doesn't feel like working very often. From what I read, that's the cause of her absence on screen, not just the writers. I guess she felt she needed to slow down a bit. So nothing has officially happened to her. She's just not around much any more. I gathered that from the responses on the SOC board, which I went over and looked at after Moore's response here.

I've noticed in the Tech Talk forum over the past few weeks that the occasional poster hasn't received email notification of replies. Since I'm not signed up for that, I can't really address it, but it may be a small glitch. If it continues, you might want to ask...
Here's the easiest thing to do when you want to look for something you've posted that seems to be missing:
1. Click onto your own name, and go to "find all posts". If the post or thread still exists on the board, you'll be able to find it.
2. There's a great search feature at the top of each page. I found your thread quite easily by typing in "Myrtle". The results gave me TEN threads that mention Myrtle's name in them, including yours which had her name in the title.
I love this search feature, and use it all the time!
I think that the comment in relation to Zach just meant that Myrtle hasn't been around for him lately, but nothing with her character. As I recall, EH had some cold or flu one day recently, and literally phoned in her conversation with Zach the day he was pacing in the hospital waiting room, fretting over Ian's crisis.
If you EVER have any questions about a deleted post or thread, though, please contact a moderator directly because there may be a reason you wouldn't expect, or a small thing you did that isn't a huge issue (and didn't merit an email), but that you may be unaware of.
