This isn't a recap as I was watching while using my computer for something else this morning, but today's episode was loaded with all sorts of goodies.
Kay counsels Niki that she might be awfully foolish to let this divorce go through (ya think, lol?). Victor named Neil Co- CEO of Newman cosmetics, Victoria will be Co-CEO of real estata and Nick Co-CEO of corporate (I think) - anyway all were pleased with that. But Neil looked at Victor with suspicion that he might not be 100% himself while he was playing chess on the internet earlier.
The head of construction is the guy getting kickbacks from the concrete supplier and JT is onto him. There's a hint that David Chow is linked to the dirty guy as Victoria saw them together on more than one occasion. They're all in CS now.
Phyllis got her work parole that will start in 2 days and Michael warns her no hanky panky with Nick or she'll end up back in prison full-time for the full 6 years. Nick arranges to head off to CS right after he visits her. Nick thanks his father and Michael for all the work they did to help Phyllis. Jack feels left out - he worked on this too. Sharon scowls but lets it go.
Lauren heads to CS alone as Michael was called back to Newman to draft agreements for Victor, and Amber is heading there too to take Lauren some papers she accidentally left behind.
Victor calls in Niki's loan demanding immediate payment, which she can't make. He says he's doing this for her own good. (I'm on the fence about Victor's actions vis a vis Niki. On the one hand, she did betray her husband and daughter to further her own agenda, but then again, Victor doesn't need to be quite so harsh with her. It's obvious they still love one another.)
Sharon, Jack and Noah prepare to head off to CS together.
Tomorrow is the day for the explosion. I'll have to leave half way through as I've got a dentist appointment at noon, but I should be able to finish recapping when I get back home an hour or so later.
Anyway, today (your tomorrow) isn't an episode to miss! The whole Clear Springs disaster is being set up, and if you miss even a bit of it, the story could be hard to follow. It really is galloping along at lightening speed compared to other soaps!
