You're at home and can't think of what you really need to be doing, so you pitter around and do laundry and stuff. But then the minute you get in your van or car and you're driving down the road, you start thinking, Oh I have to call so and so and I have to do this or that
then you get back home, and you think, what was I supposed to do again???
And I know it's not old age, I've been like this for as long as I can remember!
Tina, this is not the curse of old age. It's a direct result of having had children!
Once the kids arrive, the mind goes...
My own personal "scientific" theory is that it's a result of how many times toddlers interrupt us when we're trying to read something (remember reading the same sentence twelve times without knowing what it said?), or when we're in the middle of forming a thought. My theory is that the brain synapses are interrupted so many times, that they stop connecting properly!
That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it. Blame the kids!
