Our 10 year old laser HP printer packed it in a couple of hours ago and we have to replace it as soon as possible. It would cost us more than a new one to repair it.
Any recommendations from you guys? It has to be laser for high quality, but we don't need colour as my husband has access to a really good one at his office.
I'll go insane without being able to print up my daily fix from the London Times. Argh! Help! We're going shopping at Best Buy tonight.
Get another HP. I prefer to get the all in ones that have Photo Printing, scanner and all of that. I'll go home tonight and find out what Model we have Kae and tell ya!

Thanks, Tina and Bran. I had no idea the price for printers had dropped so dramatically! The conked one was just over $1000 ten years ago and now a printer with bells and whistles is just $250.
We didn't make it out last night - too late by the time we'd eaten dinner, but we'll head over to Tiger Direct on Saturday morning for an HP, Mac compatible, network compatible thingy. I have a list now of what the printer needs on it, and colour too.
kae if that printer lasted you 10 years then you really should stick with the HP brand, what a great brand. We have a cool printer at home that has scanning capabilities on it, its an HP I think.
We have the Photosmart 2575 All-In-One. It's a great thing. Here's a link to the datasheet PDF. I'd definitely use an HP though and I'd recommend getting one of these family of printers.
