Hey there! I'm home sick today with a killer migraine. ARGH! I have some work going on outside, I have trees being trimmed, and my driveway is being sealed, so at least I'm here to see it being done, BUT the darn noise from the chain saw is ringing in my head.
How is everyone at the start of another work week?
Hey, Tess. You've, I'm sure, considered this, but a dear friend of mine (same one with the baseball player's old house) used to suffer from migraines until she had botox in her forehead and viola! All gone! It changed her life.
I'm piddling around doing laundry this morning, then baby-sitting all afternoon. I've had The View on - love, love Whoopi. I'll play my Y&R recording while getting dinner on the table later.
It's dark, cool and rainy today, and the Norway maples are still green. It's creeping me out!
Botox huh?Wow that's cool. Know of anything to fix a broken tire until pay day lol. Poor hubby blew a tire out this morning. Thank God my step brother came home from Africa last week. He's helping him out right now. The poor kid gets home from working his butt off and helping people and look at what he's stuck with lol.
Bus tickets, Jess, lol. That's the only thing I can think of until you can buy a new tire. It's always something, isn't it?
Oh, yeah, Botox has been a life-saver for her. She didn't have any furrows in her forehead - it was done for the medicinal side-effects. She learned about it from a friend who had got the Botox for cosmetic purposes and later discovered that her headaches were a thing of the past.
and here people thought Botox was simply for cosmetic reasons. I can see how it might help with headaches though. Wow, learn something new.
Anyways, I am home til around 230 when I gotta go to school. Blech. Anyways, I am watching Y&R and its pretty good stuff. Not much else going on. My mom will be here in 2 weeks for turkey day so I am trying to get our house unpacked little by little but enough to have it done by the time she gets here.
Tina, I love epsom salt baths. They really make me feel better.
Jess, I hope you can get the tire fixed soon! Kae is right...it's always something. Uggh. I have a million things to buy and pay for to get into the apartment.
