Happy Hump Day!

Hey everyone! So, technically, it's still Tuesday night, but I'm an attention ho, and I like to start threads. hehe.

So, I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

I've been super busy at work, but it's wonderful. I really like what I'm doing. And Tuesday we got a little snow, and that was nice.

Kae, I hope the gala was not too awful!

Happy Humpday indeed. How is everyone. I am good but the end of the semester is near and so I am starting to get a little stressed. But other then that everything is well. My husband just bought a gps yesterday so it should be fun to play with, though I suspect that I wont be able to play with it much.

Happy Wednesday!

I have no plans for today, maybe go to the grocery store. I'm still coughing a bit, so it's nice to not have to go out

I bought a weird kind of product at my health foods store, you put it on the soles of your feet and it's supposed to take toxins out of your body. Well I put it on white and it came of gross and black looking. So I'm wondering is that really toxins from my body, or just a chemical reaction to the sweat onmy feet?

Tina, those are heavy metals leaving your body. There are a few ways of purging them, never have seen the liquid form, though. The method I used was a tub of water with an electrical current running through it (some German gadget from the naturopath's clinic) and by the time it was over, the water was brown with clumps of crud in it. You stick your feet in the tub.

Dansk Warehouse Sale day here for me! My friend and I are heading over to it later on this morning. It's a 90% off thing - really hard to resist. I'm looking for 4 more of my everyday dinner plates and a few doodads for fun.

I wonder if that might help me lose weight? Does one of you more wiser people know?

Not necessarily wiser, but older, Shelly, lol.

No, it will not have any affect on weight loss, but it's a good start to cleansing. Have you tried a fall cleansng with Milk Thistle? Try to find the one that's in apple cider concentrate. The regular milk thistle liquid tastes really, really awful. And don't waste your money on tablets. Liquid is the only way to go. I'll dig out my bottle of it, let you know the brand of it. I lost 20 ponds using it a few years ago.

It wasn't liquid form, it was kind of like a giant bandaid you stick to your foot.

That electrical current thing sounds interesting. Can anyone buy one?

Shelly you might need to find a Health foods store... let me go get the brand name for you and you can search the net. It would be cool if it was sold at Walmart!

I've also heard a baking soda bath help to release toxins, and might help you lose weight.

I'm not sure if it does either, but it makes the water really soft and soothing

about a cup in the tub
