Here is Lainey's take on what will happen on Dancing with the Stars. I must say I agree with her completely. It's not that I dislike Marie Osmond, but she should have gone weeks ago. Jenny Garth, as much as her lip grimaces and flailing arms bugged me, was a much better dancer.
Mel B vs The MiniVan Majority Yes, they all drive SUVs now but you know what I mean. The same stronghold that keeps Jennifer Anistons career and her highlights alive, the same stronghold that turns a blind eye to Travoltas gay gay, the same stronghold that believes every publicist-fed word in the pages of People Magazine they have now raised Marie Osmond on their formidable shoulders and will likely carry her to victory on Dancing With the Stars.
The three final teams compete tonight and for the first time I think I will watch, because Mel Bs partner is as fierce of a bitch as she is and I love it!
Maksim is the name, a hunk of burnin Euro, and he has addressed Maries popularity, the fact that she has no business being in the hunt, calling her out for sucking ass and staying in the running thanks to a sympathetic following more moved by her personal struggles than by her actual performance abilities.
Said Maksim: "I think Jennie (Garth) was better than Marie. Frankly, I think there are a lot of other people better than Marie. Im hoping that it is Mel and I (who win), but Im not sure that is going to happen. History shows its either a cute man or somebody with a huge fan base and I think Marie has both Helio and Mels fan base combined times five.Yeah, I think (Marie) represents a lot of women out there with all their problems. I know first hand that there are a lot of other celebrities on the show who went through somewhat similar situations this season and they decided not to make it public we decided not to burden people with our personal issues. I think that is why our fan base carries us through because they vote for our dancing not whatever happens in our life.

I love Jennifer Aniston but don't often even read People..I like Marie but not because of who she is. I found that while her dancing wasn't the best she did entertain me, which is why tonight I will not vote for her. This isn't a show about entertaining people, its about dancing. And as for the most improved I disagree a little about Helio, I think that Mel B was much worse in the beginning.
And in defense of Sabrina, being a choreographer and being a ballroom dancer are totally different. At least I always thought so, and i suppose it doesn't matter anymore since America didn't like her enough to keep her on.
i agree that Marie was bad last night. I put all of my votes for 2 email addresses and 2 phone lines to Mel. I think that Helio's dance was good last night but i really do think that Julianne did all the work that I enjoyed anyways. Hopefully it will be Mel. I SO want it to be a girl this season.
I hope that doll dance loses lots of votes for Marie, too. Mel was far and away the best last night, and the scores reflected that. Helio's free dance, or whatever they call it, was just okay for me.

Oh, and I was pleased to see that the cameras didn't focus on all the Osmonds sitting in the front row around Donny. They had the same camera time as the four other Spice Girls, so good for the network not playing favourites!
Kae I agree, that doll dance was just rediculous. And my mom pointed out that while Helio's lifts were good Julianne really did most of the footwork. I SO hope that Mel takes it, if she doesnt then its not right, she is the best dancer
Shelly, all I could really see of Helio and Julianna was that flouncy poodle skirt flipping all over the place, lol. She really DID do all the work, and while Helio isn't terrible or anything, and he has that great smile and dimples, it really should be Mel tonight.
I've heard Mel has previous dance experience, whereas Helio really improved from being a race car driver. I really liked his dancing, even though the judges picked it apart.
I think sometimes it's distracting with those females that are professional, they shake they're thang!

whats weird about that is he was just on The View at 10 am saying how supportive the fiancee was!!
I as a male after looking at Julianne for all these weeks must say that I can see why that happened. He probably didn't mean for it to happen but if Julianne is anything at all like she appeared on tv it probably was impossible not to fall for her!! He was spending so much time with her and she's so damn pretty (almost to the point of hurting to look at her), and of course that dancer's body with that fun and friendly attitude. Alas, poor Helio is only a human male!!
