Was that Lynette's house at the end - the one all flattened by the twister? And who is it that dies in the tornado, other than Victor (the mayor guy Gabbi married)? Will it be the crazy woman that locked herself in the bathroom and the cat lady?
Did I read correctly that Carlos will have permanent paralysis as a result of getting whacked by flying boards?
I think that they were in Lynette's bathtub. Supposedly Tom and the family make it out. Ida is supposed to be the one who dies. Last nights show was good, but I guess there is only one more epi written so we are pretty much resolved to reruns until the strike is over.
The one part in last night's epi that I didn't like was the cartoonish tussle over the off-shore bank papers. That was just so predictable, lol. Stupid PI that gave the wrong person the file - that bugged me too.
Any word on how long the strike is supposed to last this time?
I have no idea about the strike. But for those of us who are anxious to see who makes it out of the rubble I hope it isnt too long. ABC already has reruns lined up for the rest of the year. I didn't like the scuffle over the papers either. And I wonder when the papers will turn up. I was amused to see Bree and Katherine bond. I was glad that Susan made Mike go to rehab I hope that when the writers come back that they don't focus too much on the drug thing, I don't find that entertaining.
oh and FYI that was actually an accountant who gave the papers to the wrong person.
Thanks, Shelly, re the accountant thing. Sometimes when hub gets all chatty during a show, I miss so much, lol. He's not the biggest fan of DH, so I have to go easy on him for sitting through it with me in the first place. He'd rather be watching his thrilling recordings of Meet the Press (shudder).
Tina, I don't think NF and MC were on at the same time. She was a love interest for Cord, yes? And NF was about the second or third (and I think the BEST) Joey, what, like about 6 or 7 years ago? I believe MC was long gone by the time Nathan Fillion was hired.
yeah I think that Marcia Cross was definitely long gone by the time Nathan came on. I agree that he was the best Joey.
I agree that we knew he cheated, I always figured thats why they had to leave Chicago anyways. And with this writers strike I wonder if Mark Cherry even knows what will come of the Dylan and her dad story. My guess is that she isn't really Dylan.
Anyways, I think all Edie and Gaby talked about was Gabi was sorry that she and Carlos hurt Edie. They kind of made up because Edie said that she kind of always knew he would go back to Gaby. I thought that was great.
I don't think that Lynette will end up losing many members. But without new scripts its really hard to tell what is gonna happen. I say we all pray for an end to the strike.
oh yeah, and Kae the only reason I remembered he was the accountant was from a few episodes back when Carlos was being blackmailed by Edie he had his accountant move the accounts around.
oh and incidentally I just looked up Kate Sanders who is the character that Marcia Cross played and the wedding to Cord was in 86. Nathan didn't join the cast until like 93.
Have that said that Dylan looks differently though? I thought it was just her memory, because that elderly aunt that passed away was trying to tell something.
Susan's daughter was friends with her, she seemed to recognize Dylan.
I think the story with Mike is kind of realistic, people get hooked on those pain killers all the time. I thought for sure Susan would lose the baby though!
Good grief! That was 15 years ago! Where the heck has the time gone? Thanks, Shelly.
I didn't get the point of Susan falling down the stairs either unless it was just the thing to let Mike reaslise he'd let his drug dependancy go too far. I hope that story isn't a focal point too. Not a fun watch, is it?
I agree it was weird that Susan fell down the stairs but didn't lose her baby. Maybe its a premonition to come, maybe she will lose it in the near future. I agree that drug addiction to pain killers is common, but I suppose thats why I don't care to watch it on tv.
And yeah, everyone recognized Dylan but what if she is another child who had some kind of surgery to look like Dylan. I don't know, don't have details but I think it could be good. Then again perhaps it was Dylan who killed her father thus why she can't remember anything.
Dana Delaney is on the View and just said that 3 people died in the tornado. She also said that Mark Cherry said he thinks the strike will be settled soon.
thats right...I forgot about the crazy lady. I was thinking Victor, Ida (I think thats her name) but couldn't think of another. People are suspecting that the accountant may have died too. Hopefully they hurry up on this strike.
I think that they referenced on the show where Tuc's character was. And I imagine that because he was filming with OLTL is why he hasn't been on in a few weeks.
And I don't know about them not killing anyone big. They killed Rex in the first season and I still miss him.
